Paul Babin, MFA (Insight Timer Group: "Careening Toward Enlightenment")Paul works with people who want to have a deeper experience of being alive. He is a graduate of the University of Santa Monica with a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology and Certification as a Soul-Centered Professional Coach. Paul received his BA and MFA in Cinema from the University of Southern California, and for the next 40 years, he was one of the most successful and respected camera operators in Hollywood. He had the pleasure of collaborating with many of the industry's greatest directors and cinematographers, among them Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Peter Weir, and James Cameron on films such films as Always, The Rainmaker, Fearless, T2 and True Lies. Known for both his camera skill and ability to connect with cast and crew, Paul received the Lifetime Achievement Award from The Society of Camera Operators in 2012. Between 2005 and 2016 Paul was an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.

Brilliant. Specific. Concise. And, relevatory. 🙌🏼 Just 14 words to remember. And then, we just gotta remember to recall this assessment. Practice, we must, so as to become proficient at identifying when we might begin to lapse into the unskillful “emotional suffering” aspect of facing a certain troublesome issue. And, then, we need to repeat. Such that it becomes automatic, and “operates below the surface”—sorta like the deleterious programming that was originally conditioned in us. Thank you, teacher, for this terrific guidance! 🙏🏼☮️

Thank you. I just lost my beloved cat after almost 18 years and am coming to terms with him not being around. Feeling guilt for letting him go despite knowing he was at the end of his life. I will concentrate on my love for him and the amazing moments I shared with him, and accept that I will feel loss for now.
