Take some deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Bring your awareness into your body as you continue to breathe deeply.
Notice any areas of tension and breathe deeply into them.
Let your awareness begin to settle.
Let the ripples of your awareness still like the smooth glassy surface of a lake.
Bring your thoughts into the present moment.
Let go of anything else you need to do today.
Let go of any other thoughts quickly as they arise and they will.
Focus on your breath and the sound of my voice anytime you feel like your mind begins to wander.
Begin to bring your awareness into your solar plexus,
The mid-abdomen,
The center of your body.
This is the chakra that bridges our physical and spiritual realms.
It anchors us into the physical just before we begin to move into the spiritual realm of the heart and the throat and the head.
Take some deep breaths and just notice how this part of your body feels.
Bringing awareness here may be new for you and you may feel that you don't notice anything at first.
And that's okay.
Just be patient with yourself.
Continue to breathe and focus on this area and eventually you will get a feel for how the energy is moving or not moving in this space.
You may feel a tightness or a heaviness in this area.
You may feel that it is difficult to connect with this area and again that's okay.
When our energy is herniated outward,
We may not feel much in the body here until we begin to gather that energy back in.
Let your awareness start to explore just beyond the physical body in this solar plexus area.
Just as we did exploring the etheric body just outside the physical body,
Let your awareness come to the front of your belly and just outside of it.
This time we're going to travel further.
Let your awareness come further in front of you,
Straight out from the belly.
And then pause and notice what you feel here.
This is where most of us have herniated out into this part of the aura directly in front of us.
There's generally a lot of energy stuck in this area.
And if you can't feel that the first few times,
That's okay.
You can do this as a visualization until you can actually feel the energy.
If you can feel the energy,
Explore this herniation now.
Notice how big it is.
Notice any emotions or colors or visual images that come into your head.
Don't judge them,
Just notice.
Your herniation may extend just an inch or so outside of the belly or it may be much further,
Perhaps an arm's length or even more.
Again,
Do this without judgment.
The idea is to become more in touch with this energy.
Bringing awareness to it is the first step that invites it to come back to us.
We want to be gentle with this.
Imagine you had come across a stray dog.
You want to gently open your arms with love to this animal.
You don't want to cause it further pain or fear by approaching it too quickly or with too much aggression.
This is a very gentle process,
Getting to know this area of our field.
Letting anything we encounter be okay with us.
And as you get a feel for the energy here,
Or just a visualization of what you think it might look like,
There are no wrong answers here.
You can very gently begin to breathe into this area directly.
And after a few deep gentle breaths,
You can begin,
Whatever way feels comfortable,
To invite this energy to come back towards your physical body.
You can do this strictly with the intention of calling it home,
Inviting it back to your space.
You can use an image,
Such as collecting,
Harvesting a beautiful crop of fruits or vegetables or flowers.
You're collecting this beautiful crop and bringing it close to your body,
Back to your belly.
You can gently,
Very gently,
Imagine a rope.
And again,
Ever so gently,
Begin to pull this rope of energy back,
Collecting it in toward your physical body and the belly.
Find an image that works for you if you need one.
But again,
You can just breathe deeply with the intention of gathering this energy back into the physical body.
And as it comes back closer to your body,
Continue to be gentle,
Continue to breathe deeply and invite it in to the physical.
Take a nice deep breath here and let it out with an audible sigh.
Allow this energy to come back into your physical self.
This was your energy all along.
This is its home.
Welcome this energy home with love,
With joy.
Let go of any judgments that might arise,
Any thoughts of not doing this sooner.
Any feelings of leaving that energy out unsupported.
We are always supported by the divine,
Regardless of the condition our energy is in.
This energy that was stagnant is coming home to mingle with the flow of the rest of our physical and spiritual energy in and around the body.
In the next meditation,
We'll work more with moving this energy,
Directing it to a specific location.
But right now,
Just invite it back in.
Take more deep breaths,
Let them out with a sigh if that feels appropriate.
Allow yourself to feel the joy of bringing this energy back home.
Check back in with the physical belly now that solar plexus area.
You might even gently touch it with your hands.
Send some love into this area.
Send the intention of allowing this area to move.
We gain strength through movement.
Letting this energy come into the body and redistribute builds strength here.
It builds courage in our lives.
We're more easily able to stand up for our convictions,
For our values,
When the energy in the solar plexus is free flowing.
Stay in this area as long as you like,
Continuing to breathe.
Continuing to physically place your hands on the belly if that feels good.
And as you're ready,
One last time before we come out of this,
Welcome this energy back with love and joy.
Just as you might welcome your beloved child home after a long day away from you.
Take two or three more deep breaths.
Sitting in the joy and the beauty of this feeling.
And as you are ready,
Let your awareness come back.
Let your awareness come back into the rest of your body,
Into your head,
Into your mind.
And open your eyes.
