In our culture, with all the expectations, pressures, and witnessing the extraordinary times we are in, it has become normal to have a dysregulated nervous system and live with all the issues that cause.
When we are in an activated way of being, we usually set intentions and try to create new habits based on what we have been taught to do or feel we should do. This is profoundly disconnecting us from who we truly are.
It sets us up to fail in our desired outcome as it contracts our capacity to achieve it.
The truth is we cannot expect to succeed in building new habits or creating sustainable change from this place of being when our nervous systems are fried.
