Meditate To Create
One of the obstacles to our creativity is a cluttered mind. We all have cluttered minds at one time or another! In this session you will learn how to work with your mind by being guided through a focused mindful meditation session. This session will be supported by Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls - (all which are 300-600 years old), which will help calm your body and mind. This is turn will help you to focus on the moment and thus change your relationship with thoughts so that they no longer block your creativity.

Savoring The Soundscape: An Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowl Journey
Mindful listening has been proven to activate and stimulate divergent and creative thinking within the mind. In this session you will learn how to listen mindfully to sounds to support the stimulation of this creative thinking. Through the playing of Ancient Tibetan Singing Bowls and the binaural tones they produce, meditative brain states, like alpha and theta, can be created to move you into open and receptive creative thinking states.

R.A.I.N. Washing Away Obstacles
For many people, the creative process is both exciting and challenging. It’s wonderful when things are flowing easily but what can we do when we’re stopped in our tracks by negative and judgmental thoughts? In this session you will learn how to meditate with the acronym RAIN as a tool to help communicate with, calm and nurture these difficult emotions that upset your creative babies. RAIN stands for: Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture/Non-Identify.

Toning To Create
Whether or not you consider yourself a singer or think you’re absolutely tone deaf, you can move yourself into positive states by using the vibration of your voice. If fact, just the physical act of moving the voice brings about visceral changes that actually enhance your creativity!
You will use your voice to emit vibrations that in turn alight on circular vortexes of air that come up from the lungs and pass through the vocal cords. As these vibrations travel upwards into the resonant areas of the mouth, pharynx and sinuses, they stimulate receptors that then awaken parts of the brains’ nervous center. When these receptors are activated the brain releases oxytocin and endorphins which, research shows, stimulate novelty-seeking, trust and creative thinking.

In this session you will be focusing your attention at the sacral energy and solar plexus energy centers of the body. These two areas are long known to 1: house our truest desires, passions, creative expressions and 2: enhance our confidence, purpose and courage . These areas will be stimulated by specially chosen visualizations and tonal frequencies to help you explore the very personal relationship you have with these creativity centers.

This session is designed to help you go even deeper and solidify the meditation tools you’ve practiced so far, so that they can be strong and reliable anchors for you on your creative journey. The practice will move from focused meditation to open-awareness meditation and will include using loving kindness through the gateway of breath, body and sound.

Off The Cushion And Into Manifestation!
In our last session together, you will be guided from meditation to manifestation of your creative idea! You will be encouraged to practice presenting/performing your chosen creative project during this session. Feel free to express this in any way you choose, whether it’s by yourself or with other people present! It’s solely up to you!

Bonus Lesson: Up Close And Personal With Ancient Singing Bowls.
There are many ways to tap into your creativity and playing an instrument, especially sound-healing singing bowls, is one very powerful way. In this session you will learn the history of Himalayan Singing Bowls and learn how to play and meditate with them as another creativity tool. You will also learn about Michael’s personal experiences with singing bowls and how they influenced his creativity. By playing singing bowls you not only learn focus and patience but you also experience deep opening states as the playing vibrates through your fingers and body, not just your auditory senses.
