Wat je zal leren
We spend our lives trying to outrun the truth that nothing lasts. But what if the awareness of our mortality isn't something to fear, but a doorway to a more honest and liberated life? In this 4-day contemplative course, we explore the ancient wisdom of the Bible on impermanence, loss, and the paradox of being "dust and breath." Through guided reflection, silence, and scripture, you will learn to sit with unanswerable questions, find comfort in cosmic perspective, and embrace the art of letting go. In this course, you will: Make peace with limits: Find rest in your creaturely fragility. Sit with mystery: Walk with Job through loss into awe. Hold the paradox: Balance fleeting time with eternal longing. Practice surrender: Learn to live fully with open hands. This course is for anyone (spiritual, religious, or simply curious), who feels the ache of passing time and wants to live with courage in a temporary world. Dust And Breath | A Perspective From Genesis
We begin our journey by naming the truth we often avoid: that we are fleeting creatures, made of "dust and breath." Through the poetry of Genesis and the Psalms, we explore how accepting our fragility can lead not to despair, but to a deeper sense of belovedness and a more honest, awake life.

Job And The Whirlwind | A Cosmic Scope
Today, we sit with Job, a man who lost everything and demanded answers, only to receive a vision of cosmic vastness instead. We explore how losing our security can paradoxically open us to awe, and how God's silence might be an invitation to trust a story far larger than our own.

Eternity In The Heart | An Exploration Of Ecclesiastes
We are caught in a beautiful, aching tension: we are fleeting creatures who deeply long for forever. Today, we meditate on Ecclesiastes 3 and the paradox that we carry "eternity in our hearts" while living in a world of seasons that pass.

The Grain Of Wheat | John 24:12
In our final session, we move from contemplation to practice. With John 12:24 as our guide, we explore the ancient wisdom that true life begins when we learn to fall, crack open, and surrender our tight grip, trusting that death to the small self is the only way to bear fruit.
