Setting Yourself Free
Meditation is instinctive and your body knows how to do it. Nature has installed into your body the natural ability to relax, recover, and heal from stress, trauma, and the challenges of life.
In today's meditation practice, we are going to deconstruct what you think you know about meditation and set yourself free so that you can sink into the deepest, juiciest meditative states anytime, anywhere.
Les 2
The Love Of Creation
Each breath is a gift from the whole Universe. All of creation is loving us into existence moment-to-moment. The air we breathe into our living bodies is a gift from the whole solar system.
In today's meditation practice, inhabit the freedom you already have, allow yourself to love what you love, feel fully equipped to do the work in the world you're here to do, and permit yourself to contribute your gifts in whatever ways you're inspired to do.
Allow the love of creation to move you in your meditation practice today.
Les 3
Welcoming All Currents Of The Life Force
What a gift to be in these bodies, here on planet Earth.
In meditation, we come to meet ourselves however we are. Tired, sad, happy, mad, excited, discontent, satisfied, loving, electrified, longing, aching, anxious, laughing, flowing with subtle erotic energy...
As we attend to these inner feelings, sometimes a mood will get stronger and more intense... sometimes to the point where you feel like you can't take it anymore. But then in the next breath, it can dissolve into pleasure, like an orgasm.
All of these energies are a part of the life-force energy that is moving through, in, and as you in every breath you take. Today's meditation practice will take you there and invite you to be with the life-force energy at play in your body/mind system. Permit the intrinsic genius within yourself to be free.
Les 4
Attuning To Tension
In meditation, we are giving the mind, body, and heart system an opportunity to review all of its internal connections.
Meditation is a process of tuning the tension; the electrical tension, physical tension, emotional tension and soul tension. It's not just relaxation. It's like tuning a musical instrument.
In your meditation, you are called to tune into all of these places. To feel where you are out of tune or out of harmony with life. Your presence gives you the space to adjust the tension in those places so that you can reharmonize your body & begin with the delicious and harmonious flow of life.
Give yourself permission to inhabit your body and notice what you notice.
Les 5
Being Grateful Through Your Challenges
Life loves to gear up to meet a challenge. This can either be stressful or thrilling. When we encounter a problem, this summons our inner creative process to come up with a way to meet life, so that we can thrive.
Meditation is being with the creative, dynamic, flowing energy that loves to be presented with challenges, problems, and adventures.
In your meditation practice today, tune into where you're having challenges. See if you can love those challenges, be grateful for those challenges, and love yourself as you navigate those challenges. This is the pathway to freedom & solutions.
Les 6
Welcome All Parts Of Yourself
There are many parts of you. Many faces, many personalities, many feelings, many dreams, desires, relationships, and expressions.
The lover, the healer, the mother, father, son, daughter, sister, brother, friend, warrior, worker, magician, the cook, the ally, the explorer, adventurer, the person who loves sex, who loves parties, the person who loves being alone.
Today's meditation practice is an invitation to welcome all parts of your being; the ones that you know, the ones that you're just beginning to know, and the ones that you have not yet gotten to know.
Les 7
The Hero's Journey In Meditation
Meditation offers the body an opportunity for deep rest, deeper than deep sleep. As we sink into this restful state, we are able to feel our wounds, tiredness, stress, grief, love, sadness, anger, or delight.
Getting into a daily practice of meditation can be a hero's journey unto itself. We all need time to feel what's in our hearts. We all need to create space to soothe our fears. There is always something calling us that we need to tend to. Today we are going to be exploring the 'journey' aspect of meditation.
Meditation is always intended to be a time to get what we need. It is an opportunity to fill your cup and take care of your mind, body, emotions, and well-being. Sink into today's practice & tend to the parts of yourself that need tending.
Les 8
Embodying Ecstasy
What do meditators need to remember? This is the question I am often asked. Today's practice is going to guide you back to what really matters and what really works... which will be different for each and every individual.
Meditation is sensual.
Meditation is personal.
The process of life recreating itself is ecstatic.
Meditation is a name that we give that innate capacity that life, God, and the Universe have given to us. If you want to get good at meditation, then learn to get good at doing the things that you love doing most in life.
Be embodied in your experience when you let the hot water of a shower flow over your skin. Fully experience the taste & temperature as you take that first sip of your favorite drink. What exactly do you love? This is today's practice.
Les 9
Encountering Taboos
When you step outside your ordinary limitations, you will notice certain things come up. Even though something can feel so right, you may find a part of yourself telling you it is wrong.
In today's meditation practice, you are going to get to know your own taboo signals. The taboo of resting. The taboo of letting go of control. The taboo of overwhelming sexual passion. The taboo against fun. The taboo of being yourself. The taboo of feeling like there is something wrong with you, your thoughts or emotions.
Meet each taboo with your breath practice, tolerating more aliveness in your body, being, and life today!

The Subtle Sizzling Sensuality Of Meditation
Human beings have dozens of senses, not just five. Yes, we do have vision, hearing, touch, smell, and taste - the basic 5.
Scientists estimate that we receive 10 million bits of sensory detail every second. In yoga, the senses are called “indriya,“, the beloved companions of the divine. The senses are honored as the connection between the outer universe, this miracle of creation, our inner universe, this body, and all of the subtle bodies, and Awareness. Each sense is a way of receiving the gift.
Meditation techniques are ways of allowing ourselves to awaken and engage with the deep rhythms of life, by attending to all of the sensory rivers that are continually straining with information energy, and nutrition.
Your practice today is to go deep into the sensory experience of your body and inner awareness... let it fill you up. Enjoy!
