Alternate Nostril Breathing And Balancing Breath
“Let the breath led the way.” — Sharon Salzberg
Beginning with a common yogic practice, Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing), we will balance the body with breath. Then we will move to a qigong balancing breath technique that includes visualizing the breath like waves moving through your body, which is also bringing a balancing energy.

Segmented Breath To Increase Energetic Awareness
This segmented breath in and long extended exhale provide a stronger locus of control in the body to bring more awareness to the body's rhythms. This is a yogic practice, and we follow up with a practice that is about compacting energy using a qigong visualization and breath practice. This takes a little practice, so take your time. And practice as long as you'd like.

Expanding With Two Final Breath Practices
“Breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Dwelling in the present moment, I know this is the only moment.” — Thich Nhat Hanh
Working with the heart energy, we'll focus on receiving and breathing into the body with focused awareness. Finding a sense of expansion and connectivity with breath and visualization can be a practice that takes time to master, so try it a few times with me, then on your own.
