We use age-appropriate language and activities to help the children understand and engage with the material. We will give them the tools they need to be more present, mindful, and happy in their lives.
Abigail is an author, yoga teacher, wellness coach and postpartum doula and pediatric nurse. She is the owner of Set on Shine Wellness which empowers mothers and children to heal themselves. You can find Abigail dancing under a disco ball, swimming, painting and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Day 1: Introduction To Mindfulness
Today we will talk about mindfulness and explain what it is and how it can help you in your life. We will end the first day with a mindfulness practice so you can try it for yourself!

Day 2: Mindful Breathing
Mindful breathing is when you bring your attention to the breath to help when you are feeling upset. Today we are going to practice two different breathing techniques. We will practice breathing while saying a phrase. When we breathe in, we will say "I am love" and when we breath out, we will say "I am calm". Then we will practice another breathing technique by putting one hand on the belly and one hand on the chest.

Day 3: Mindful Movement
Today we will focus on mindful movement. We will practice moving with intention. What does moving with intention mean? It means moving with a purpose and being in tune and aware of the body. There are many ways to practice mindful movements. Today we are going to do it through dancing and using our imagination.

Day 4: Feel Your Feelings
We will talk about what feelings are and the importance of feeling them in a safe and mindful way. We do a body scan and get curious to see if there are any feelings present in the body. We will say hello to them and then clear out mind body and spirit by visualizing a waterfall washing it all away.

Day 5: Gratitude
Gratitude is a feeling. When you feel grateful it feels really good. Gratitude is focusing on what you have and giving thanks for all that you have been given. Often people get very busy and forget to pause and notice all the wonderful things in our lives. Practicing gratitude is being mindful of what you have and saying thank you thank you thank you.
