Hey friend,

Let's take a few minutes to check in together today.

Come into a cross-legged seated position.

Feel free to cushion your hips with a pillow or a blanket,

Or you can find another position altogether that feels comfortable for you.

Whenever you arrive in your seat,

Right away begin to grow heavy through the hips and the thighs,

Just grounding into the earth.

Then reach the crown of your head toward the sky.

Feel a gentle lengthening in the spine.

Roll your shoulders up,

Back and down,

Gently squeezing your shoulder blades together behind your heart space,

Broadening through the chest,

Creating lots of space here between the tops of your shoulders and your ears.

Sitting tall,

Aligning your head over your heart and your heart over your pelvis,

A beautiful straight line through the spine.

Soften through the fingers,

The toes,

The muscles of the face,

The belly.

Close your eyes if you haven't already,

And sweetly invite your awareness inward.

Just nice and easy,

Notice how you feel.

Maybe this perspective shift prompts you to pay some attention to your breath.

Maybe your inhales and your exhales begin to deepen slightly.

Just observing what is.

Allow the noise of your mind to be there,

Like fluffy white clouds moving,

Shifting,

Changing shape in the sky.

Just observe any sensation,

Any movement,

Any noise,

Allowing,

Noticing,

Breathing.

Can you see the still blue sky behind the clouds?

Can you feel a moment of complete presence between the thoughts?

Can you feel it,

The stillness?

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Just observing what is.

Gently bow your head toward your heart,

Feeling this sweet stretch in the back of your neck,

Coming into one final moment of stillness with your body and your breath.

Thank yourself now for showing up,

For taking this time to check in with your beautiful body and mind.

Softly blink open your eyes,

And slowly lift your head.

It's such an honor to be still with you.

Thank you for allowing me to be your guide.
