Floating On A Cloud

A relaxation / sleep meditation for your little ones with light background music. I do a light body scan and we lie on a cloud floating along. I hope you and they enjoy it and positive feedback is so appreciated.

Good evening my loves,

I hope you've had a wonderful day,

That you got to run around and have fun,

You saw your friends,

You laughed,

Maybe some sun came and touched on your face.

We're going to be going to bed soon so it's time to relax.

Make sure you're lying down,

That your head's resting on your pillow,

Your covers are just under your chin and you feel snug as a bug in a rug.

In a few minutes I'm going to say some things that I hope will help you create a picture in your mind.

I'm also going to ask you to relax different parts of your body.

Learning to relax will help you cope when you're angry,

Sad or scared and it will help you sleep.

So make sure you're in a comfortable position.

Let's take a few relaxing breaths.

Close your eyes.

We're going to breathe in through our nose.

I'm going to breathe out through our mouths.

Again in through our nose and out through our mouths.

You can hear I'm making loud noises when I breathe in and out just so you can follow me.

You don't have to do that,

Just do what feels comfortable.

Take a few more relaxing breaths in and out.

Breathe in and out.

That's it.

You're feeling peaceful.

You're becoming more and more relaxed,

Calm and peaceful.

Now keeping your eyes closed,

Pretend that you're on a white fluffy cloud high in the sky on a beautiful day.

You're floating peacefully on the white fluffy cloud.

You're moving very slowly as light as a feather just drifting along.

The fluffy cloud is holding you safely.

You're just floating across the sky.

Now imagine you're falling deeper into the cloud.

It's all snuggly around you.

It's almost like your duvet just keeping you warm.

Maybe your feet are nice and warm.

You can feel the cloud behind your knees.

It's nice and soft.

You're enjoying the ride in the cloud.

Now notice your toes,

Notice your feet,

How relaxed they're feeling.

Notice your legs,

All the muscles in your legs are light.

You're relaxed there.

You're just in the cloud floating along.

Notice your arms,

Maybe you can feel your fingers.

Notice your beautiful neck that holds up your head all day and lets you take in everything that your eyes can take in.

Now notice your head,

Soften your face,

Relax your tongue,

Maybe open your mouth just a little bit.

Okay and I want you to breathe in and breathe out.

As you lie here just think about the sun that's touching your skin,

How warm it feels.

The clouds just floating along.

It's almost like a magic carpet.

You're so special,

You're so kind and loved.

We're all so proud of you.

You're going to have a wonderful sleep,

Maybe dream about adventures or the treat you're going to get in your lunch tomorrow.

Or think about how wonderful it is hugging someone you love.

Remember to keep breathing in and breathe out.

Thank you for being so kind and wonderful.

As you drift off to sleep,

Know that you're safe and that tomorrow is going to be a day full of delight and adventure.
