Welcome to this five-minute bedtime meditation for kids.

Let's get cozy in bed,

Lying down comfortably.

Close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Feel your body relaxing with each breath.

Imagine you are in a beautiful magical forest.

The trees are tall and gentle and the leaves whisper softly in the night breeze.

As you walk through the forest,

You feel safe and calm.

The stars above twinkle like little friendly lights guiding your way.

Now picture a soft fluffy animal friend joining you on your walk.

This could be a bunny,

A kitten,

Or any animal you love.

Your animal friend is here to keep you company and make you feel happy and relaxed.

Together find a cozy spot under a big friendly tree where you can lie down and rest.

As you lie down in this peaceful spot,

Feel the soft grass beneath you and the gentle warmth of your animal friend by your side.

Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,

Let all your worries and thoughts float away like clouds in the sky.

Feel your body getting heavier and more relaxed with each breath.

Your legs,

Your arms,

And your whole body are sinking into the soft comfy grass.

You feel warm,

Safe,

And loved.

Now listen to the sounds of the forest at night,

The gentle rustling of the leaves,

The distant hoot of an owl,

And the soft chirping of crickets.

Let these sounds lull you into a deeper state of relaxation.

As you lie here,

Remember that you are safe,

Loved,

And ready for a night of peaceful sleep.

Take one more deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Let your body relax completely and let your mind drift off to sweet dreams.

Good night,

Little one.

Sleep well and know that you are always surrounded by love and peace.
