Calling You Home
by Niamh O'Shea
There are things we seem to know before we know how to name them. Calling You Home is about that deeper remembering, the pull towards something ancient and familiar that can be felt through the body, the natural world and the rhythms that have existed far longer than we have. Through darkness, tide, moon, roots, water and stone, the song follows a call that does not demand anything from us. It does not ask us to become someone new or find somewhere else to belong. It simply waits. Beneath everything we have learned, beneath the noise and the searching, perhaps there is still something in us that remembers. Something that has been calling since the beginning. Calling us home.
