Welcome to this meditation.

I invite you to find a comfortable seat.

You can lie down if you want as long as you're not too tired.

Make sure your back is straight,

Your shoulders are relaxed,

And you can slowly close your eyes and breathe deeply.

As you inhale you can feel the oxygen flowing through your veins nourishing every cell of your body cleaning,

Releasing anything held up in our body and with every exhale we can feel ourselves releasing,

Feeling our body relaxed,

At peace as we keep on breathing slowly and deeply.

We can feel our body becoming even more relaxed,

Calm,

Heavy or light.

This is a shamatha meditation in which we focus on one anchor and in this case our breath.

With each inhale we can keep on feeling the oxygen as it flows through our body making space for more peace,

Acceptance,

Love,

And comfort into our bodies and our hearts.

We can feel our ribcages expand with each breath and our body relaxes even more with each exhale.

Let's take a few more deep breaths,

Maybe release with a sigh,

And when we're ready we can slowly open our eyes and continue our day from this place of peace,

Comfort,

And joy.

We can take a few more breaths,

Maybe thank ourselves for meditating,

For taking care of ourselves,

And from this place have a wonderful day.

Thank you for meditating with me.
