Resting in divine presence.
A crown chakra meditation.
Take a moment to notice that you have arrived.
Not at a destination,
Not at the end of something you must complete perfectly,
But here,
Inside this breath,
Inside this body.
Inside this moment.
Allow your eyes to close if that feels comfortable or soften your gaze.
Notice where your body is being supported.
Let your shoulders settle and clench your jaw.
Soften the space between your eyebrows.
There's nowhere else that you need to be right now.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And release it gently through your mouth.
Again.
Breathe in.
And let the exhale carry away whatever you no longer need to hold.
You one more time.
Receive the breath.
And release.
Bring your awareness to the crown of your head,
The energy center known as Sahasra.
The crown chakra is connected with spiritual awareness.
Inner peace.
And our sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves.
You do not have to reach beyond yourself to connect with it.
You do not have to force an experiment or search for a perfect answer.
For these next few moments,
Simply allow yourself to rest in presence.
Imagine a soft violet or luminous white light just above the crown of your head.
There's no need to see it clearly.
You may sense it as a warmth,
Spaciousness,
Stillness,
Or simply as the possibility of light.
With each breath,
Allow that light to gently meet you.
Not pulling you away from your body,
But reminding you that you can be fully human and deeply connected at the same time.
Let the light move softly through the crown of your head into your mind.
Down through your throat.
Your heart.
Your Center.
And all the way through your body.
Imagine it touching every place within you that has worked hard to understand,
To control,
Or to make meaning of the unknown.
Let those places soften.
What might become possible if you did not need to understand everything right now.
What would it feel like to trust that some clarity arrives through stillness,
Not striving?
And where in your life are you being invited to release control and remain open?
You do not have to solve these questions.
Let them rest gently within you.
Sometimes wisdom speaks in words.
Sometimes it comes as a quiet knowing.
And sometimes it comes through the peace of no longer needing an immediate answer.
Now,
Silently or aloud.
Allow these words to settle into you.
I am present.
I am open to wisdom greater than what I can see.
I release the need to have every answer.
I trust the unfolding of my life.
I am connected,
Supported,
And never separate from the sacred.
Divine Presence lives within me and moves through me.
Let those words become less like something you are repeating and more like something you are remembering.
You belong to life.
You are part of its mystery,
Its movement,
And its sacred unfolding.
You do not need to abandon yourself in order to experience the divine.
Your body is not separate from your spiritual life.
Your humanity is not an obstacle to your wholeness.
You are allowed to be grounded and expansive,
Certain and curious,
Human and holy.
For a few moments rests beneath the soft light above you.
Let yourself be held by the quiet.
Nothing to prove,
Nothing to perform,
Nothing to become.
Only this breath.
Only This Presence.
Only the sacred awareness that you are here.
As we bring this meditation and this journey through the chakras to a close.
Imagine the light gently traveling once more through your whole body.
Through the crown,
Where you remember connection.
Through the third eye,
Where you trust your inner wisdom.
Through the throat,
Where you honor your truth.
Through the heart,
Where you remain open to love.
Through the solar plexus,
Where your power lives.
Through the sacral center,
Where your creativity and feeling flow.
And down to the root.
Where you are held and grounded.
Every part of you belongs.
Every part of you is invited in a wholeness.
Place one hand over your heart.
And if it feels comfortable,
The other on your lower belly.
Feel the steadiness of your body beneath your hands.
Take a full breath in.
And slowly breathe out.
Begin to notice the space around you again.
Listen for the sounds near you.
Feel the surface supporting your body.
Gently move your fingers and your toes.
There's no need to leave this sense of connection behind.
Carry it with you,
Not as something outside of you,
But as a presence you can return to at any time.
Take one final breath in and release it slowly.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
You are grounded.
You are connected.
You are whole.
Namaste.
