Hello my name is Natalie and I am grateful that you have chosen to follow this guided meditation aimed at helping you to reconnect with yourself,
To take a moment to pause and to bring a sense of clarity around where you are and possibly where you would like to be.
If you are finding that you are feeling stuck right now,
This is a moment before you try to solve anything.
You don't need to figure it all out here but simply allow yourself to just pause.
I invite you to find a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
I want you more importantly to give yourself a sense of comfort and permission to just be.
If you feel comfortable you can close down your eyes or gently lower your gaze.
So let's take a slow breath in through the nose and letting it go either out through the mouth or through the nose.
Just allowing yourself to feel what it feels like to breathe.
And again in through the nose and out through the nose or the mouth.
With each out breath I want you to let your shoulders drop a little,
Allow your hips to be heavy,
Allow your face to be soft and unclench in your jaw if you need to.
There's nothing you need to do for the next few minutes other than to just be here.
You might be feeling a pull,
A part of you wanting something to change,
A part of you unsure what that looks like.
That tension can feel uncomfortable and confusing,
Almost like you're being pulled in two directions at once.
Just notice what that feels like.
You don't need to fix it,
Just acknowledge it's there.
Now gently bringing your attention inward,
Coming into your beautiful home and you might like to place one hand on your heart center and just notice what feels loud.
The feelings that are pushing for answers,
The thoughts that are clouding your judgment,
The what-ifs,
The need to get it right.
Let it all be there.
You don't need to silence them,
Just notice them.
And then beneath that noise,
See if you can find something quieter,
A steadier feeling.
And using your breath,
Allowing everything to slow down,
Not urgent,
Not demanding.
Just a sense,
Maybe it's a knowing,
Maybe it's just a feeling that something isn't quite right or something wants to shift.
You don't have to name it perfectly,
Just notice it.
And then taking another breath in through the nose and this time let's release out through the mouth.
Allowing that breath to wash over your entire being.
Just feeling and listening.
You don't need to decide everything right now.
You're not choosing your whole future in this moment,
You're just here.
And from here,
You only need one small honest step.
Gently starting to bring your attention to your entire being.
You've been here before,
Moments where you didn't have all the answers and you found your way through.
Not because you had certainty,
But because you kept moving one step at a time.
And that hasn't changed.
So just gently ask yourself,
What feels like the next step for me?
Not the perfect step,
Not the full plan,
Just the next step.
You might get an answer,
You might not.
But both are okay.
This isn't about forcing clarity.
It's about staying connected to yourself long enough for it to come.
Taking one more breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Allowing yourself to release and let go.
When you're ready,
You can start to come back to your body,
Into the room that you're in.
Coming back to your day.
You don't need to rush.
Just carry that small sense of connection with you and let that guide your next step.
