Hello,
My name is Natalie Foster and I welcome you to this meditation.
During this meditation today,
We will be clearing and cleansing our chakras.
So take the time now,
Whether you choose to be in the shower with water pouring down onto your head and allowing the water to rush down your body,
Or perhaps laying in a comfortable position on your back.
You might also choose to take this meditation in any body of water,
The ocean,
A river,
Or a bath.
We will begin by closing your eyes.
Settle into your body.
Notice any expression on your face,
Softening the eyebrows,
Lips,
And jaw.
Soften your shoulders.
Begin to scan your body,
Noticing any places that may be holding onto tension or stress.
Allow your body to melt.
Let go of the hold on your muscles.
Feel gravity pulling you and giving way.
Begin to become aware of your breath without changing anything at first.
Simply notice the rhythm.
Use your breath to help you arrive right in this moment.
Keep your attention on the movement of your breathing.
Now invite a deep breath in,
Filling the base of your belly as you take your next inhalation.
With control,
Slowly releasing the breath,
Letting go.
Continue to breathe in this fashion,
Nourishing deep inhalations and slow,
Controlled exhalations.
Nourishing deep inhalations and slow,
Controlled exhalations.
Nourishing deep inhalations and slow,
Controlled exhalations.
As you continue to breathe deeply and fully into your belly,
Begin to notice any shifts or changes in your body.
Any parts of the body more fully relaxed.
Or perhaps you become aware of your mind.
The thoughts may begin to slow.
The busy mind becomes less cluttered.
Each breath in is an opportunity for new life.
In each exhalation is the opportunity to release.
Release what no longer is serving you.
Release old energy.
With your next breath in,
Bring to mind anything that you want more of right now in your life.
Imagine yourself breathing this in.
As you exhale,
Let everything else dissolve in your mind.
Now,
In your mind's eye,
Envision yourself standing at the base of a waterfall.
How big,
How tall is your waterfall?
What does it sound like?
What are in your surroundings?
Are you in a jungle?
Can you hear birds or animals nearby?
Continue to paint this picture in your mind.
As you step under the warm,
Rushing water,
Notice the color of this waterfall.
Whichever color or colors call to you in this moment.
Continue to breathe,
Keeping your awareness at this waterfall.
Standing here,
Under the waterfall,
The waters slowly turn into a bright,
White,
Luminous color.
And you feel your crown chakra beginning to spin and vibrate gently.
This brilliant,
White light flowing effortlessly through your crown.
Washing away confusion or negative emotions.
This white,
Flowing water brings clarity,
Peace,
Cosmic healing.
The water flowing into your crown chakra begins to turn into a deep,
Violet blue.
Visualize this.
Begin to sense your third eye chakra.
Begin to rotate,
Spin,
Open.
These deeply rich,
Blue waters clearing your inner vision.
Making way for strong intuition and connectedness.
Allow these warm,
Blue waters to rush through your third eye.
As you continue to breathe easily and deep.
Visualize now,
Your waterfall turning to a brilliant indigo blue.
Your throat chakra spins with light and opens.
Making way for your truth to be expressed.
Letting go of boundaries that you have closed yourself into.
See this beautiful,
Blue water cleanse your throat chakra.
You begin now to notice these waters pouring over you change to a shining,
Emerald green color.
Slowly,
Your heart chakra opens,
Vibrates,
And begins to spin.
You see these emerald waters wash away heartbreak and feelings of unworthiness.
You are fully and completely covered in love.
Keep breathing as your heart chakra beats again.
Bring your attention back to the waterfall.
The warm,
Nourishing waters turn to yellow.
Yellow like the summer's sun rotating and opening your solar plexus chakra.
Bring your attention to the solar plexus chakra.
Below the ribs,
Above the navel.
Feel as your confidence and acceptance for yourself and entire being begins to grow.
Allowing lies and false truths to be washed away.
These yellow waters begin to turn a vibrant orange.
Visualize the sacral chakra spinning and opening with vibrant orange waters.
Allow the cleansing of these orange waters to run through your sacral chakra.
The space below your navel.
Making space for the creativity within you to surface.
Continue to breathe as these warm,
Nourishing orange waters clear out any blockages in your sacral chakra.
Drawing your attention back to this waterfall flowing down your body.
Feel and see the water beginning to beat with a vibrational red color.
Your root chakra rotates and vibrates as it opens.
Feel as these red waters speak to you.
You are safe.
You are grounded.
It is time to let go of fear and make way for stability in your body.
Bring your attention back to the waterfall.
Come back to your breath.
As your body remains still,
Feel only the movement of your breathing.
Your chakras are now all open and vibrating with color.
Your waterfall has come back to clear.
Sit with your breath for another minute or two.
As you re-enter your physical body and into your surroundings.
When you feel ready,
Slowly begin to bring small movements back into your fingers and into your toes.
Notice how it feels to move your physical body again.
Take your time.
As we gently close this chakra cleansing meditation,
Flicker your eyes back open.
Give yourself a moment to be grateful.
