I'm Nara,
And this meditation is here to help you connect with the energy of Sagittarius.
Sagittarius is the fire sign that's ruled by Jupiter.
Of the fire signs,
Sag is most like a wildfire.
It loves to go exuberantly in all directions.
Symbolized by the centaur,
Half-human,
Half-horse,
Sagittarius has a wild side,
But it can also be a brave hunter and a wise teacher.
Sag's centaur is often pictured shooting an arrow at the heavens,
But if we could animate that image,
It would definitely be shooting many arrows in many different directions,
Because as a mutable sign,
It's one of the natural multitaskers of the zodiac.
Arriving at the end of November,
Sagittarius carries a celebratory quality with it.
It has a Jupiterian love of singing,
Dancing,
And enjoying life's pleasures.
It goes about things with an earnest flair,
And wants to be free to simply delight in things that feel good.
Sagittarius is also the sign best known as a traveler,
One that loves to meet people from other cultures,
And is often willing to traverse long distances to seek out new friendships or new experiences.
Like Pisces,
The other Jupiter-ruled sign,
Sag has a strong urge to do good in the world.
It cares deeply about others and wants the best for them.
Sag is the quintessential teacher and mentor,
With a philosophical side that can make it seem older than its years.
If there's a drawback to Sag's many talents,
It's that it might try to take on too many things at once.
It's important to temper that beautiful wildfire with solid earth,
Nourishing air,
And soothing water so that it can keep burning steadily.
So,
As you deepen into your breath,
Beginning to allow each inhale and exhale to be a little longer and a little more spacious,
I want you to imagine that you are a beautiful Sagittarius centaur,
Standing at the edge of a dark forest.
In that forest is a thing you desire.
And so,
With your next round of breath,
I want you to enter this forest,
Finding the path that will lead you toward your goal,
Forging your way through the trees,
Through the underbrush,
And being willing to face whatever comes your way.
I want you to imagine that you are a beautiful Sagittarius centaur,
Standing at the edge of a dark forest.
In that forest is a thing you desire.
And being willing to face whatever or whoever may stand in your way.
