Melodybee is a little Honeybee that lives in my garden,

And she's my BFF.

BFF means best friend forever,

And she wants to tell you something special.

Harold is happy you are visiting us again.

He really enjoyed our walk to the dog park last time.

Oh,

That's the oven.

I baked an apple pie just for Yoda.

Can you smell it?

I added extra cinnamon for him because he loves cinnamon.

That sweet smell of home-baked pie is one of my favorite things.

I love taking a slow,

Deep breath in through my nose to enjoy it as much as I can.

Then,

I breathe a sigh of relief out through my mouth because I can tell by the sweet smells that it's almost ready.

Yoda is training a new Jedi,

And just yesterday,

The new Jedi became a Jedi Master.

Since Yoda loves cinnamon,

I thought to bake him an extra cinnamon-y apple pie.

I've never made an apple pie before,

So I was a little nervous at first,

But you know what Yoda always says.

Do or do not.

There is no try.

So I got together the ingredients,

Found a family recipe in one of my old cookbooks,

And I did it.

Oh,

Oh,

Oh,

Stand back a little.

This is very hot.

The warmth from the oven is nice,

Though.

Can you feel it warm and toasty on your skin from there?

Oh my goodness.

The apple pie is golden brown on top,

Just like the recipe said it should be.

I think it came out perfectly.

Yoda is going to love this little surprise.

Mmm,

That smells delicious.

Oh,

So happy to see you again.

Maybe since you're here,

Mrs.

Honeybee will let me taste-test Yoda's pie.

This pie is for Yoda and his newest Jedi Master.

I'll bake you a pumpkin pie this weekend.

I saw these bright yellow sunflowers and remembered they are your favorite.

So I wanted you to have them to brighten your day.

That was so kind and thoughtful of you.

These are definitely my favorite flowers.

Don't you just love their big sunflower faces and all their little yellow petals?

They are the only flowers that look like they're happy and smiling.

That makes me smile.

I'll put them in a vase right here in the kitchen so I can see them.

Harold,

Do you want to go for a walk right now?

He was waiting specifically for you to get here because he loves to walk with you.

We need to let this pie cool anyway.

Go grab your leash,

Harold,

That's not very kind of you to growl at the squirrels.

They're our neighbors,

Too.

They're just out collecting acorns.

They're hungry and like treats just like you do.

Look now.

They've got all the acorns they need from the grass and they've stuffed their puffy cheeks absolutely full.

I love the way they scurry back up the tree.

Sometimes they stop halfway up,

Turn their little bushy squirrel tails all the way around,

And look back for me to give them just a couple more acorns for them to carry up the tree.

Aw,

They're doing it again.

Let's gather a couple more acorns from the grass to give to the squirrels.

Look all around the soft green grass until you find a little brown acorn.

They're kind of shiny and even look like they're wearing little hats if you look really close.

I found one.

Did you?

Now you have to be really quiet and very gently hand the squirrel the acorn.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose to be as quiet as you can inside and out.

Then when you breathe out through your mouth,

Reach up to the friendly squirrel and hand over your acorn.

Aw,

The squirrel loved it and grabbed it right away.

Great job.

That was so kind of you.

I bet the squirrels will really appreciate that extra acorn.

That's like someone handing you your favorite lunch.

Little things like that are the best way to show kindness.

It doesn't have to be big.

You can bake a pie for a friend who became a Jedi Master.

You can get someone you love their favorite flowers.

Or you can give a friendly squirrel an extra acorn you found on the ground.

All those little things bring smiles to faces that might need one.

And you just never know who really needs a smile that day.

Speaking of smiles,

Look at this.

It's a penny and it's face up.

You know what they say about finding a penny.

Say it with me if you know.

Find a penny,

Pick it up.

All day long you'll have good luck.

This copper penny is only worth one cent.

But do you want to know something really special about this penny?

Within this small round copper penny,

There's something you cannot see,

But that's very powerful.

Here,

Hold your hand out flat.

I'll place this penny on your hand and see if you can tell what it is.

Can you tell?

Within that little penny lies a wealth of kindness.

Close your hand up around that penny.

Feel it so tiny and cool in your hand because I want to give the lucky penny to you.

Now it's all yours.

I know you are just the person to have this lucky penny.

Whenever you need a little luck or a smile,

You can always remember that penny.

It will be with you forever and ever.

When you need to,

You can toss this penny into a fountain as you make a wish.

Then the great magic around us begins working on making that wish come true.

But in order for wishes to come true,

You have to take on the responsibility of passing along the kindness.

You already passed along the kindness today.

Did you realize it?

That's how easy it is.

Sometimes you don't even realize you were kind.

Today,

You helped the squirrels.

Now,

With the penny,

You have the exciting chance to think about what kindness,

Big or small,

You will pass along tomorrow.

It's completely up to you.

I'm so excited to hear about the wonderful ways you are spreading kindness in the world.

It is such a beautiful day outside today.

The sun is shining down on all the flowers.

The butterflies are fluttering to each and every one.

The leaves are even starting to change color on some of the trees.

Sunny days like this are the best for long herald walks through the neighborhood.

Let's turn just around this corner where the tall sunflowers are.

I just love to walk by them.

What are you smelling,

Harold?

Is Elsa and Anna's guava tree blooming again?

Whenever it blooms,

The whole block smells like sweet smelling guava,

And Harold just loves it.

His sense of smell is so strong that he always sells it before me and Mr.

Honeybee.

Oh,

Look,

Harold,

You found something.

You found two dimes.

Wow,

Right after we found a penny.

What are the chances?

And what's this?

Oh,

Goodness,

Here's a $20 bill.

And look,

Someone's brown leather wallet strewn about on the grass.

This is definitely a lost wallet.

Let's be sure to put everything back inside,

Safe and sound,

So we can see who this belongs to and get it back to them right away.

Here's the ID card.

Let's look at the name to see if this is one of our neighbors.

It is.

It's the nice man who lives next to Aladdin,

Just around the corner from here.

He must have dropped it on accident when he was walking his Yorkie pup.

His pup is one of Harold's very best dog friends.

This neighbor of ours will definitely need a smile when he realizes he lost his wallet.

This is the perfect chance to pass along even more kindness.

This reminds me of something Anna,

Elsa's sister,

Always says.

She's such a wise young lady.

She says when you don't know what to do,

The next right thing to do after you find a neighbor's wallet is to pass along kindness and return it.

We know exactly what to do.

So let's get there as fast as we can.

Together,

We will make sure to bring him a smile.

I trust you to do the important task of holding it,

Keeping it safe and sound on the rest of our walk.

We can't lose it twice.

I have complete confidence in you because I know you can do whatever you set your mind to,

No matter what it is.

Do you have it in a safe place,

Maybe tucked under your arm or in your free hand?

Maybe you'll get to see your Yorkie friend when we get there.

Aladdin lives up the street and then just around the next corner.

Do you see those two tall oak trees at the end of the street just before you turn the corner to Aladdin's?

The ones with some of the leaves turning those beautiful colors,

All sorts of dark reds and yellows?

Well,

If you squint your eyes,

You might be able to see Aladdin's habit.

It looks like he has it out.

Aladdin and Abu,

His sweet monkey friend,

Made their very own hammock.

Then they wrapped extra ropes around the trunks of those trees and hung it up.

They swing out there all the time.

I'm surprised he's not out there now.

Harold loves to see Abu.

They run and play together.

Abu usually teases Harold by climbing up a tree when they're chasing each other.

Harold tries and tries,

But he hasn't been able to get up the tree yet.

So Abu usually wins.

One day you'll learn to climb a tree,

Harold.

I believe in you.

Oh,

That reminds me of something interesting that happened with Aladdin and Jasmine recently.

One day Mr.

Honeybee and I were driving.

I think it was when he dropped me off at the airport so I could catch my flight to Dagobah because Yoda wanted to show me around his home planet.

Anyways,

Mr.

Honeybee and I were driving along when we came upon Aladdin and Jasmine on the side of the road.

Stop.

Because to know a people you have to see them for yourself.

They looked so worried.

Their magic carpet malfunctioned and completely broke down on the side of the road.

Luckily,

We saw them there and were able to stop and help.

And even luckier,

Mr.

Honeybee had some tools in the car that day.

Mr.

Honeybee and Aladdin worked for hours and together they were able to fix the magic carpet.

Apparently,

There's a magic transmission that has to be oiled,

But Aladdin always forgets to oil it because it's technically invisible.

With an extra little part and some shared kindness,

Mr.

Honeybee and Aladdin got the magic carpet back running smoothly.

Because of that,

Aladdin said that whenever we need to get somewhere quickly,

Mr.

Honeybee and I could use the magic carpet.

People don't see the real you in your royalty.

Since we need to get this nice neighbor's wallet back quickly,

We have no time to waste.

I just need to do a special whistle Jasmine taught me and the magic carpet will come to us.

Isn't that neat?

Never know where a little kindness will take you.

Maybe on a magic carpet ride.

Do you still have the wallet safe and sound?

Excellent.

I knew you'd take good care of it.

Here comes the magic carpet.

It's purple fuzz is so bright.

It couldn't blend in with the green grass and trees if it tried.

Hopping on the magic carpet is a little tricky.

You go first.

Harold and I will make sure you get up there.

Okay,

Then we'll hop on.

Harold loves magic carpet rides even more than he loves walks.

All you need to do is take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose to quieten yourself inside and out.

Place your hands on the soft purple magic carpet and feel your chest expand with fresh air.

Then slowly breathe out through your mouth and use your hands to hop right up.

Great job.

Here comes Harold and me.

Now we're off to deliver this kindness and a neighbor's smile.

Don't you just love the way the warm gentle breeze blows on your cheeks during magic carpet rides?

There's no other feeling like it.

Harold's white fluff blows everywhere.

But look at him.

His snout is up in the air.

His eyes closed.

He's loving it.

The great thing about magic carpets is that they always know exactly where you're going without even asking.

That's another part of the invisible transmission.

After Mr.

Honeybee and Aladdin fixed it on the side of the road,

They realized there was another special,

Even more invisible valve that allows the magic carpet to know where you need to go without asking.

They replaced it,

Luckily,

So now it's going to deliver us right to the nice neighbor's house.

Here it is,

The blue house next to Aladdin and Jasmine's vacation palace.

Be careful hopping off the magic carpet.

Hold on to the wallet.

We're almost there.

Oh,

Now I know why we didn't see Aladdin and Abu on the hammock.

If you're very quiet,

As quiet as you can be,

You can hear why.

He's practicing the piano.

Besides relaxing in the hammock,

Playing piano is Aladdin's very favorite thing to do.

And he's quite good at it.

He writes and sings songs.

Sometimes Abu plays a teeny tiny tambourine along with him.

I just love listening to Aladdin play the piano,

But we have something important to do.

Let's walk up to the door and see if this nice neighbor is home.

It's just up these steps.

I'll knock once,

Twice,

Three times just to make sure he hears us.

Hmm,

Maybe he's not home.

I can try peeking in the little windows on the door.

I don't see anyone inside.

He must be out and about without his wallet.

Oh,

Goodness.

What a shame.

What is it,

Harold?

Do you know of a way for someone to get this very nice neighbor his wallet back?

That's right.

I almost forgot.

Melody B had plans to pollinate the flowers in this part of the Honeybee neighborhood today.

Melody B is my BFF because she is so trustworthy.

Maybe she can make sure he gets it when he returns home.

We found our neighbor's wallet on our walk.

That's what best friends are for.

How kind of you to make sure he gets it back.

I will be sure to deliver it to him right away.

Did you know that the same way bees spread pollen from flower to flower,

You can spread kindness from human to human?

That's right,

Kindness is like magic.

He is so soft and snugly,

The sunshine is just peeking in through the treetops as the leaves start to fall.

The warm breeze is blowing just enough to swing you ever so lightly back and forth,

Back and forth.

I'm so happy you got to meet all of my friends and thank you for helping me return the wallet.

Today I had to take two Magpie lark chicks to the vet because all the storms lately in in where I live nocked the nest of my balcony. There where three but one died from such a big fall and the mummy and daddy I think aren't going to try again and build a new nest,me my mum and my sister have wached them build the nest and sit on it and feed the chick's ever since they have arrived.

EDIT!: There is a new nest! It has two little baby boy chicks! And it's in the same spot as the last one was!
