Bedtime with Mrs.

Honeybee.

Today,

We will be exploring the world of Barbie.

All you have to do is close your eyes,

Get cozy,

And listen to the sound of my voice.

Mrs.

Honeybee will be your guide.

Let's begin.

You are here enjoying a pleasant afternoon stroll.

The sun is shining down on you.

Springtime flowers are blooming and filling the air with their sweet scents.

It is such a good day that can only get better.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and feel your spirits lift with the fresh air.

Then slowly breathe out through your mouth and continue walking until you come to a park.

At the entrance,

There is a beautiful arrangement of all kinds of flowers hanging over a booth.

A very friendly person who is working the booth invites you over and asks how your day is going as they tie flowers together to make a flower crown.

Once finished,

After you chat for a little while,

You place the flower crown on your head.

You feel as if you can stand taller with it on.

The confidence courses through you.

The person at the booth invites you into this special event hosted by none other than Barbie herself.

Sometimes being free means choosing not to go.

In addition to your crown,

You also get a little tote bag that's full of goodies.

Instead of looking through it,

You step onto the soft grass to walk to the event.

Right foot,

Left foot,

Right foot,

Left foot.

Everyone is sitting down on blankets like a grand picnic and Barbie is up on the stage talking.

There's a spot open front and center just for you.

It's only hopeless if you give us.

In your tote bag,

There's a big soft blanket for you to sit on.

You reach in to unfold it and lay it gently on the grass.

It's so soft and cozy.

As you get comfortable sitting in the audience,

Barbie welcomes you and the other few people who just arrived.

One by one,

Each of them introduce themselves.

They have come from all over the world to be here.

This must be an important event you stumbled onto.

Now it's your turn.

You stand up to introduce yourself and everyone claps so happy that you are here to join them.

Then Barbie explains what the event is all about.

This is a self-love summit where we can gather to celebrate both inner and outer beauty and support each other too.

Barbie pauses so the crowd can say it along with her.

Be the best me I can possibly be.

A smile comes across your face as you look around at all these kind,

Welcoming people who are here to support you.

Then up to Barbie who smiles and waves back.

She then hops down from the stage to greet everyone individually.

She runs over to you first and gives you a big hug.

She is so happy you're here.

You are one of the kindest,

Most loving people she knows and you are going to be an important part of this event.

It's pursuing your dream even when everyone else says it's impossible.

Once Barbie meets everyone,

It's time to break up into small discussion groups.

Barbie strolls around as everyone forms into circles.

When she's done explaining to all the other groups what the next exercise will be,

She excitedly sits right next to you to join your group.

She explains that for this exercise,

We are going to focus on what we love about ourselves because those are things that we should celebrate each and every day.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and think of one thing you love most about yourself.

Then slowly breathe out through your mouth and say that thing out loud.

The group smiles when they hear what you love most about yourself because that is a very lovable characteristic.

You are so,

So loved.

Barbie gives you a little hug after you speak out loud.

Then the rest of the group takes their turn saying what they love about themselves.

As the others speak,

You realize that each and every person in this group and in the whole world has something specifically unique to them that we can love.

If Barbie was an ice cream flavor,

What flavor would she be?

Next,

Barbie is excited to announce that it's time to go through the tote bags full of goodies.

You open it up to look inside and see makeup,

Hair accessories,

Journals,

And even a little gold pin that says,

I am loved.

Barbie pins yours to your shirt to remind you how loved you are by yourself and those around you.

Everyone else follows suit to pin theirs to their shirts as well.

Barbie stands up to explain that after listening to what each of us loves about ourselves,

We realize how important it is to be true to ourselves.

How else can we be the best me that we can be?

An important part of that is looking exactly how you want to look.

You can wear bright makeup or no makeup.

You can have rainbow colored hair or no hair.

You can wear beautiful ball gowns or your most comfiest clothes,

And you are still the most beautiful you that you can ever be.

With all the makeup and accessories in the tote bag,

You all spend the afternoon doing each other's hair and makeup,

Dressing up in fun costumes,

And enjoying all the love in the air.

You and Barbie take turns doing each other's hair and makeup.

You both look spectacular.

The event and the day is finally winding down.

You have spent the whole afternoon smiling,

Laughing,

And celebrating the unique gifts that are in each of us.

Barbie then asks if anyone knows where beauty comes from.

The crowd simmers down from their joyous laughter to wonder.

Then Barbie asks everyone to place both hands over their heart,

One on top of the other.

Together with Barbie,

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Feel your heart beat once,

Twice,

Three times.

Then slowly breathe out through your mouth.

Barbie explains that both inner and outer beauty come from your heart.

It glows and radiates from you when you have a kind,

Loving heart.

That is the only thing that can make us truly beautiful.

Feel the soft glow of your heart shining through your radiant smile,

And each time you are loving to yourself and others.

Feel all the beauty in yourself and around you.

Jay, Robyn, Wren, Finch, and Crow all are in Robyn’s living room doing different things. Jay is laying on Robyn and Jay’s bed, Wren is playing a game of Nerts with Robyn, and it is a very slow game, as the both still have 12 cards. Finch is laying on the couch and watching Crow chase a balloon like a child. The teens all come to attention as Eagle slams the door into the counter, knocking off many different glasses. They don’t seem to notice and enters the room. Someone behind them also enters the room, and she is new. “This is Raven” Eagle clerifies.
