Hello beautiful soul and welcome to today's shamanic drumming meditation.
My name is Jocelyn and it is an absolute joy and honor to have you in this space with me today.
Thank you for sharing your time,
Your energy,
And your precious life force with me.
At this moment I invite you to get comfortable sitting or lying down.
Whatever feels right for you in this moment is perfect.
There's no right or wrong way to be.
As always I welcome you exactly as you are.
Happy,
Sad,
Fearful,
Angry,
Hopeful.
Whatever it is that you're feeling in this moment I want you to know that it's safe to feel that here.
It is safe to be exactly as you are in this practice.
Today I'm going to be doing some intuitively led shamanic drumming for you and as you hear the beats of this drum I invite you to just allow those vibrations to really sink in and whatever thought or emotion arises within you I ask you to try and practice lovingly welcoming it.
In my own practice I like to greet these thoughts and emotions as they arise because in the years that I have been doing intuitively led healing and energy work I have seen time and time again that what we resist persists.
And the things that arise within us are typically what is asking for our attention.
What is asking to be seen.
And in that moment is what needs to be seen and acknowledged the most.
So if I'm in a meditation and I suddenly feel this energy of agitation I say out loud or in my mind hello agitation.
And I welcome it allowing it to be there.
And what I find is that with that acknowledgement and that sense of welcoming and acceptance of what is the intensity of the thought or emotion becomes a bit easier to sit with.
At the end of the shamanic drumming you're going to hear a shamanic rattle and as you welcome in at the end of this drumming portion of the meditation I would love for you to just visualize any dense energies any energies that you feel aren't serving you that feel that they're ready to be released evaporated lifted alchemized and transmuted into the light.
Allow the sound and vibration of this shamanic rattle to assist you in shaking off those energies.
And if you haven't already just allow your eyes to float closed here and just bring some very gentle awareness to your physical body here noticing without judging if you can.
If there's any areas of tension or tightness any areas that feel energetically heightened or charged in some way just allow yourself to send a little bit of love and compassion to the entirety of your body and the energetic field within and around you and letting it know if you can that whatever arises in this space is welcome and that you will do your best to greet it.
I encourage you to be patient with this and be compassionate towards yourself with this practice of welcoming what arises.
It's the most natural thing in the world to have thoughts energies and sensations and emotions arise within us in meditation and throughout our life.
So you are in good company.
Bringing some very gentle and loving awareness to your breath here without trying to change it or alter it in any way.
In a moment here you will begin hearing this shamanic drumming and this clearing of the rattle will conclude the drumming portion and we will meet here at the end once more.
You are loved you are seen you are welcome to be as you are.
Beginning to draw some very gentle awareness back to your physical body here.
On your next in breath let's take a deep inhale together allowing your lower belly to really expand.
Holding it for a moment at the top and allowing yourself to sigh out audibly through the mouth.
Let's take one more of those on your next in breath breathing in through the nose.
Feeling that sensation of fullness within you and perhaps around you and sighing out allow yourself to bask in the stillness for a moment.
With very gentle awareness just noticing what your physical body feels like and what the energy around your body feels like.
Can you sense the life that's within and the life directly outside of your body?
And can you sense the connectedness between them?
And whenever it feels right you can allow yourself to bring some very gentle movement back to your fingertips and to your toes.
You can allow your head to move from right to left if that feels good.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
It is a true joy and an honor to hold this space for you and with you.
The light that dwells within me sees,
Honors and is inseparable from that light within you.
I send love and gratitude to you.
Have a beautiful rest of your day,
Dear soul.
Namaste.
