In today's world,
Where everyone is busy with everyday life,
Running around for their job,
Kids and family,
Sometimes we just need a break from our worries and stresses.
Let's take a break.
Come with me on a journey and let us focus on the energy of the horse.
One of the symbols of the horse is unbridled desire of freedom.
Make sure you are comfortable.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and gently let that out.
Take another long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and gently let that out,
Letting your eyes float closed.
Bring your attention to your breathing,
But continue to breathe normal.
Surround yourself with white light and feel a sense of peace wash over you.
Imagine yourself walking through a valley with long,
Lush,
Green grass.
As you walk,
Your hands and grass begin to dance as the long blades of grass tickle your fingertips.
You are surrounded by rolling hills in every direction.
They are covered in beautiful wildflowers,
All vibrant in color.
In the distance,
You see a horse galloping towards you,
Its long,
Thick mane flowing in the wind and its coat shines in the sunlight.
This horse can look however you would like.
Any breed,
Color,
It may even appear as a unicorn.
As this magnificent animal approaches you,
You can see every muscle rippling in its body.
As it comes to a halt in front of you,
You can feel its warm breath with every exhale.
As you reach up with your open hand to caress its forehead,
It trustingly lowers its head.
You lean towards the horse,
Resting your forehead on his.
Now ask,
Either through thoughts or words,
If you can go for a ride.
As you gracefully mount this magnificent animal,
You can feel the trust and oneness.
You can feel the strength of the horse just by standing there.
You can feel his heartbeat,
And it isn't with rhythm with yours.
With one squeeze of your legs,
He begins to move,
Feeling every step as he picks up his hooves and rests them gently on the earth.
With your fingers entangled in his mane,
He begins to trot.
His gait is smooth as he floats across the valley.
Now he begins to gallop.
You can feel his sheer power with every stride.
The wind is blowing across your face and through your hair.
You slowly lift your arms out to your sides,
Closing your eyes and feeling the warmth of the sun hitting your face.
You can smell the fresh air with a hint of the fragrance from the wildflowers.
You are one with this magnificent animal,
Absolutely free.
In the distance,
There is a river flowing through the valley floor.
As you approach the river,
The sun is shimmering in every direction.
As you cross,
The galloping hooves sound like thunder beating on the water.
A cool spray of water washes over you,
Washing away all your worries and stresses.
You are free from all earthly ties.
It will soon be time to bring this journey to a close.
As you come to a halt where your companion met you,
You dismount,
Wrapping your arms around his neck,
Hugging him with gratitude for taking you on this journey.
You give him a kiss on his soft velvet nose until we meet again.
He turns and gallops back through the valley from which he came.
