Today I would like to guide you in a healing meditation.
Let's start to heal our inner child.
Let's get comfortable.
If you are comfortable closing your eyes,
Let them gently flow closed.
If you are not comfortable closing your eyes,
Simply soften your gaze.
Start to focus on your breathing and bring your attention to the present moment,
Leaving all worries and stresses behind.
Take a long deep cleansing breath in and release all tension on the exhale.
Feel your body start to relax.
If there is a place in your body where you still feel any tension,
Take another long deep breath into that tension and release it on the exhale.
Sometimes when there is healing we need in our life,
We need to go back to our childhood or young adulthood.
There are times when those that are supposed to love us do us harm either through actions or words.
It is time to heal that little child.
Let them know they are loved and they are worthy of love.
They are strong because they stand before us today and they can be anything they want to be.
In your mind's eye,
Surround yourself with a bubble of white light.
Feel the peace and security.
You are in a safe place.
Before we go back in time,
Call upon your guardian angel or a loved one that has transitioned to be by your side.
Or if you would like someone who is still here in this physical realm to whom you feel completely safe with,
They will be by your side the whole time keeping you safe.
As the bubble of white light ascends,
You feel light like a feather.
It will take you as high as you want to go.
It may only be to the top of the trees or it could be as high as the highest mountain,
Above the clouds or even into the cosmos floating among the stars.
So as high as you feel safe.
A gentle breeze comes and you start to float back in time.
You are secure and safe and your guide is with you.
You are not alone.
Go back as far as you need to go.
Find that child or young adolescent.
Tell them you will meet them in their safe place.
Where was your safe place?
Was it under the bed,
Behind the couch,
In the closet,
Out in a field,
Near water or in the woods?
Wherever it was,
Meet them there.
As the bubble of white light starts to descend,
You are safe and have the protection of whom you asked to come on this journey with you.
As the bubble comes to a rest,
You step out of the bubble.
You are at their safe place.
You approach them.
You can see the sadness and pain in their eyes.
It is time to heal that pain and bring joy into their soul.
Embrace them.
Tell them you are there for them.
Take them by the hand and go for a walk.
Anywhere that you want to go.
It could be on a walk on a beach,
Listening to the waves as they meet the shore,
With birds flying overhead.
Maybe you are walking in a valley with tall green grass and wildflowers and a stream full of birds following nearby.
You can hear the water dancing over the rocks.
Maybe you are in the woods with tall trees everywhere.
And with the inhale,
You can smell the pine trees.
Listen to the wind moving through the tops of these trees.
Or you may find safety in a home or another place.
Talk with them.
Tell them what you weren't told.
You are loved.
You are beautiful.
You are worthy.
You are important.
You are strong.
You were not a mistake.
You are a survivor.
You can be anything you want to be and I will be proud of you.
Tell them anything else you want them to know.
It will soon be time to bring this journey to a close.
But first take a moment to thank yourself for giving yourself this gift of healing.
Hug your younger self with love and compassion and tell your younger self that you love them.
It is time to return.
The bubble of light surrounds you.
You feel a sense of peace within yourself.
As you start to ascend,
A soft breeze comes and carries you gently to the present day.
The bubble of white light descends and gently comes to rest.
Thank your guides and angels for their guidance and protection.
Start to bring your attention back to the present moment.
Start to notice your breath.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Start to be aware of your body.
Wiggling your toes and your fingers.
And when you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Feel free to revisit this meditation as often as needed.
For each time the message might change,
Different feelings and emotions might arise.
