Use this mindful exercise for daily practice during the first week of May. The focus of this gentle session is body awareness, taking a kind moment to acknowledge our body sensations and to listen inwards. Our daily lives often involve rushing and focussing on external factors, which often leaves little time for noticing or connecting with our bodies. This track is to give you the space, permission, and moment to focus on how your body is feeling.

Hello and welcome to mindfulness with Ruby.

I would like for us to start taking a gentle inhale through the nose and then slowly and calmly exhaling through the mouth as you allow your body to relax.

Now as you inhale start to focus your attention towards your body.

How is your body feeling today?

Right now.

And exhaling as you begin to listen inwards.

Take a few moments now to listen to your body as you breathe.

Kindly acknowledging any sensations that you feel without judgment.

Telling your body to speak to you.

If you feel called to place a gentle healing hand over your body or to move into a more comfortable position then that's okay.

Be free to connect with your body.

And now bringing your attention back to your breathing.

So taking an inhale through the nose and then exhaling through the mouth.

As you calmly open your eyes.
