In this sacred moment,
We enter into prayer,
Opening our hearts and our minds to the Eternal One.
God,
Spirit,
The Absolute.
And in this time of winter solstice,
When the sun stands still,
We pause and slow our pace resting in the darkness.
This is the time to feel the eternal presence of the Divine,
To allow ourselves to align with nature's rhythm.
As we sit here in this silence,
Our heartbeat can be the only sound.
And in this deep peace,
I feel and I know the eternal expression of God,
Of Spirit,
Expressing through me.
And I know that it expresses through each one of us,
Through each heart that is listening to this prayer.
I feel the gift of stillness in this present moment.
I know in this quiet darkness of the season,
All is released that is ready to be released.
We open and let go.
We let go of the challenges from the past year,
Any fears or anxieties of the unknown,
Any resentments or grievances,
Any residue of anger or the scatteredness of worry.
And into this dark womb of the Mother Earth on this winter solstice,
We release any and all blockages within,
Both known and unknown,
That obstruct the flow of joy,
The flow of love.
I know and feel the depth of the Divine that wraps us with love and holds us in that deep,
Dark nourishment on this longest night and shortest day.
I know deep surrender for each human heart during this cleansing time.
Winter solstice is also a time of turning towards the new,
Of welcoming the lengthening days ahead.
And so in this moment,
I know that we too receive the blessings of the Earth Mother and the Father Sky,
The Divine Mother-Father God that is right here in this moment,
Pouring forth the light.
I know each one of us feels that divine spark within our own hearts that we awaken to know,
To feel,
To experience the light of love within us.
I know the Divine qualities within that have been perhaps hidden in our souls,
Perhaps dormant or forgotten,
Are now awakened into their most fullest expression.
All that is ready to grow in this moment grows.
That which is ready to express is expressed with ease,
The joy,
The love,
The deep peace.
We feel that here now,
Each heart simply opens to receive,
Opens a little deeper,
A little wider,
In order to bloom,
To expand,
To grow ever more bright in awareness.
And into this sacred space,
We connect with our deepest,
Heartfelt intentions to move forward in the world,
Shining the light of the Divine to the fullness within our own lives,
Within the life of our family,
Within the life of our community connections,
And onward out into the world.
So I say thank you.
Thank you God.
Thank you Spirit,
For this beautiful,
Sacred,
Holy moment of the winter solstice.

To breathe deeply,
To sit in the stillness,
And to feel and to know the eternal presence of the One,
The eternal gifts of Spirit expressing so fully as each one of us.
So I release this prayer with love and gratitude into the divine law,
Knowing it is absolutely done.
And so it is.
