The deeper you go, The higher you climb. In the city of your life, There are highways and byways, Alleyways and traffic jams, Electric lights and work and play and televisions on. There's a lot of noise, A lot of busyness, A lot of circumstances. But the deeper you go, The higher you climb. Moving inward in consciousness, We begin to climb a mountaintop of greater awareness. We rise even momentarily from the busyness, The happenings, The dramas, The challenges, Rising higher and higher above them until we are on a mountaintop of pure awareness, Where we can look down on the city of our lives from a place of greater perspective. We can see our life not as a series of pieces, But from a panoramic view. Ah, I didn't quite see how those two things connected before. Hmm, There's a little too much to handle going on there. Yes, It's time to let that go. Seeing our lives from a broader point of view, From that mountaintop, We touch the sky. There's no difference between heaven and earth, And we have a spiritual connection that allows us to view, And yes, Even line the city of our lives with a greater understanding of truth and oneness. The deeper you go, The higher you climb. The deeper you go, The higher you climb. The more you go inward, The higher the mountain becomes. It's always available to you and to me. The deeper you go, The higher you climb.
