Welcome to this quiet moment.
To be rather than do and find some stillness.
To listen.
Listen with intention.
Because sometimes when we allow ourselves to delve inward,
We hear some whispers of wisdom within.
So let's begin by making yourself comfortable.
Allow yourself to settle in.
Maybe this means you're seated in a chair with your feet on the floor or a cushion sinking your sit bones in or laying down.
Your position isn't what's most important.
What matters is the willingness to turn your gaze inward.
We need to get quiet sometimes in order to hear.
So take a cleansing breath in and release it.
And close your eyes.
Take a moment to meet your breath.
The natural inhale and the following exhale without having to change anything about it.
Just notice the awareness of breath,
Which is life that enters through your nose.
And then the gentle release of the exhale.
Be aware of your own natural rhythm and observe it.
Filling up and letting go.
Notice the current of grace present and greet it as it welcomes you.
Feel the stillness that moves forward.
If you notice thoughts that want to arise instead,
Just allow them to move through as if they're clouds passing by overhead.
There's nothing else to do right now.
There's nowhere else to go but here with you.
Breathing you.
So in this stillness,
Let yourself be breathed.
Take your attention now to your chest.
You can even place a hand or both hands if you'd like over it.
Take a moment to just tune in to this heart space.
Allow yourself to gently drop deeper into the invitation of your loving heart.
Openness.
Just notice the loving current here.
The hum.
Spaciousness and tenderness.
Free and truth.
Aliveness.
Your beautiful heart full of sensations.
Give yourself permission to explore and feel it all.
Allow.
Open and surrender.
What does it feel like when it expands even more?
Feel the hum.
The energy.
The light.
Allow it to swell and stretch across your entire chest.
Perhaps it even leaks out beyond its borders.
Let it hold you.
What does your heart want to tell you?
What does your heart need you to know in this very moment?
Just listen.
Listen for the whispers.
Allow yourself to receive.
And then gratitude for this beautiful heart.
Repeat after me either aloud or silently.
I hear you.
I feel you.
I thank you.
I love you.
And I thank you.
And take a nice big inhale in.
And release.
Allow yourself to come back gently into the room that you're in.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
And as you transition to continue with your day,
May you hold some heart spaciousness and loving gentleness towards yourself.
Maybe even others you encounter during your day.
This loving remembrance of the nature that is you.
Namaste.
