Welcome to another quiet moment where we can travel inward together.
I've been thinking a lot recently about a quote from Louise Hay.
And she says,
You've been criticizing yourself for years and it hasn't worked.
Try approving of yourself and see what happens.
And in thinking about that,
I've thought a lot about the power of positive affirmations,
Phrases that help me reframe negative or unhelpful thoughts.
And when I get stuck in the struggle with my own self-critic,
Which can be loud and relentless at times,
I find myself most receptive to affirmations when I set aside time to get quiet,
Turn inwards and allow myself to drop down into my heart space.
In this meditation,
I take you there with me.
Let's begin by settling into a comfortable space and allowing yourself to arrive in this present moment.
To soften,
Unwind,
Settle.
So let's start with finding your breath and just notice it.
The journey of breath from the inhale through your nose and the out breath through your nose.
Just observe the natural rhythm without needing to alter it at all.
And if you haven't done so already,
Let's close down those eyes.
The inhale and the exhale.
That's what we're with.
There's nowhere else to go and nothing else to do but be here with your breath.
What's your own personal rhythm of breath like?
Just notice.
You.
You.
Your own unique rhythm.
And just be with it.
Take your awareness now to the middle of your chest.
Your heart center.
Feel its expansion as you breathe in.
And how the heart space flows across your entire chest on the exhale.
Be with the heart space flow and its loving warmth.
Now,
Feel a beautiful ball of radiant light fill your chest on the inhale and radiate across it all on the exhale.
Let that light expand and envelop all of you.
Then bring forth your divine I am presence.
Your eternal timeless spirit.
Opening yourself to the universe,
The great source.
Allow your whole physical body,
Including your energetic body and all of the chakras to be receptive to these words.
If you'd like,
You can repeat these affirmations after me,
Either aloud or silently.
I am ready to step into being uniquely me.
I am worthy.
I am more than good enough.
Endless possibilities and opportunities are opening up for me.
I radiate my huge loving heart to the world.
I am a secure,
Worthy being,
And I trust my own instincts.
I am divinely guided and supported.
I can trust the universe.
I recognize that love is larger than fear.
I allow myself to be part of the oneness I see and feel all around me.
I allow myself to feel joy,
Happiness,
And freedom.
Loving myself is easy when I feel the love and light of who I am.
My heart is open and full of love for myself as well as others.
I am supported and guided by divine love always.
I am exactly where I need to be along my path.
I allow myself to feel.
I am ready and safe to share my unique gifts with the world.
I release any doubts and thoughts and fears that hold me back.
I have faith.
I trust.
I believe.
I am free to express myself truthfully and authentically.
I am worthy and deserving of my heart's desires.
I choose love over fear.
I choose love over fear always.
Now take a deep breath in.
Pause for a moment.
And release that breath out.
And no need to repeat these after me,
But as a summarizing prayer.
I ask for assistance from the universe and my angels and guides to help ground all of this into reality.
To show me what I may need to shift in my life.
To allow this to deepen and deepen with every moment of every day.
To show me how to sustain this loving energy of creation and receive all that comes my way.
I am ready.
I am grateful.
And so it is.
And as we come back into the present room.
And think about the gradual transition to our regular day.
