Our bodies hold much knowledge and wisdom, and during this guided meditation, we will give ourselves the gift of journeying inward to pay attention, acknowledge, and listen to what any tension, pain, or dis-ease would like to tell us. So often we look externally for all the answers, and during this practice, we open to the possibility of finding healing wisdom within. We need to get quiet sometimes in order to hear.

Welcome to the opportunity to journey inward.

Our bodies hold so much knowledge and wisdom,

And I believe body signals of tension,

Pain,

Disease,

Can be a needed call for attention to come back home to ourselves.

What could it be like if we were to pay attention,

Acknowledge,

Listen,

Instead of denying,

Ignoring,

Taking something to just make it all go away?

Well,

In this meditation,

We're going to give ourselves the gift to journey inward.

So find a comfortable place where you won't be disturbed,

And either take a seat or lie down.

Your position isn't what's most important.

There is no right way or wrong way.

So allow yourself to settle in.

What matters is your comfort and a willingness to choose to turn your gaze inward.

We need to get quiet sometimes in order to hear.

So let yourself arrive now into the gentle space of right here,

Right now.

Close your eyes and settle in.

With nothing else to do and nowhere else to go but here.

Give yourself permission to soften,

Unwind.

And if you can make yourself even 10% more comfortable,

Then do so.

This is your time.

So let's welcome a long,

Gentle,

Cleansing breath in.

And gently release that long breath out.

And just continue to follow your own gentle inhale through the nose and the gentle exhale through the nose.

You can notice this,

Your breath,

Without needing to change anything about it.

The inhale and the exhale.

The breath.

The whole cycle of inhale followed by the exhale.

What's your own personal rhythm like?

Just notice.

You your own rhythm.

And just being with your breath.

The breath which is life.

So keep your breathing just as it is and keep observing,

Noticing,

Feeling.

And at the same time,

Start to let go a bit more using your breath to help you expand and open up some space within.

Openness.

Notice the loving current here.

The hum.

And feel your connection to the earth beneath you.

Sink in and let the ground support you fully.

And feel that energy rise up to meet you as you do.

Allow that earth energy to travel in and up throughout your entire body.

When we get rooted in ourselves,

We become more alive to the whole world around us.

The expansiveness.

You might already notice that thoughts sometimes want to creep in.

That's okay.

That's what our minds and our thoughts do.

But for this time here now,

We're going to let them be there and not follow them.

So let them pass or float by like clouds passing in the sky.

No need to follow them or attach to them.

Just bring yourself back to your breath.

The inhale.

The exhale.

So often we look externally for all sorts of information.

But how often do we settle a bit?

Get quiet.

And just notice what's here.

Here in this very moment in our body.

So what's arising within you right now?

Just feel.

Notice.

Or the landscape,

Perhaps with just some curiosity and wonder.

Maybe physical sensations.

The thoughts passing by like clouds in the sky.

Maybe emotional feelings.

Maybe the energy you're holding right now.

That area of the body is calling for some attention today.

Where have you noticed lately?

A common discomfort.

A pain.

A holding.

Let's go to that area with our attention and our compassion.

So you may notice there are several areas that call to you right now.

Choose one of them for now and take your attention to that place inside your body.

When I travel inward,

It helps me to visualize entering the inner space of the body by traveling down my throat and neck into the main body.

And then I know I can either travel upwards towards my neck and head if I need to,

Or travel downwards towards my heart,

Maybe my stomach,

Maybe my hips.

Anywhere your body is calling you to go.

Take your full attention there without questioning it.

Journey to that spot now.

And when you arrive,

Just let it know you're here.

Use your breath,

The inhale and the exhale to greet it.

Fill the space that you're concentrating on with breath,

With life.

And as you release the breath,

Allow whatever needs to be released with it.

The rhythm of your own breath merging with this part of you.

Whatever sensations you feel,

Allow it.

And tell this place that you're here to be with it for a little while.

To listen.

To hear.

And now ask that part of you.

What is it you are trying to tell me?

What is it you want me to know?

What do I need to do to heal myself?

Notice any responses,

Even if they don't immediately make sense.

This isn't a mind exercise.

It's a feeling sensing experience.

So be open to receive any message.

Stay with it.

There's no rush.

It might just want you to truly be with it.

So stay available to any messages,

Any insights,

Any sensations.

And something may arise,

An insight or an answer.

But it's okay if it doesn't too.

Because sometimes an intuitive sense or message can arise even a day or two later.

And in the most unexpected ways.

You can let your body know you're open to its wisdom,

To its knowingness.

You can trust it.

For a few more moments,

Just be with this part of you by bringing in your breath,

Some compassion and listening.

Allow yourself to feel.

And if you feel called to ask any of those questions again,

Or even a new question that you might have,

Lovingly do so.

You might even want to say again,

What is it you want me to know?

And for these next moments,

Just open.

Namah Shivaya.

And now,

Either silently or out loud,

Repeat after me.

When my body speaks to me,

I am willing to listen.

I pay attention to my body and what it wants to show me.

I am willing to participate in my healing process.

Now just take a couple of gentle breaths and feel yourself return to the room.

When you feel ready,

Open your eyes.

And as you continue with your day today,

May you notice any intuitive feelings you may have about your pain or discomfort or that troubling area.

You may receive some insights in unexpected ways.

So look for the gifts.

With healing energy,

Love and light,

Namaste.

❀️Thank you! ❀️ I really like your voice and the general pacing of this meditation. And, I personally would like more time after the questions for the body. β€œWhat do you want to tell me?” I would like quite a bit more quiet to listen for longer. Just my two cents! Thank you. πŸ™

I love your gentle and patient approach. My heart, which has been doing so much grieving, told me it wanted to feel joy again. And when I gave it permission to feel it, I was awash in joy, just to be alive. Thank you.
