Well welcome and happy summer solstice if you are in the western hemisphere.
We're so honored and pleased that you've chosen to join us today.
I'm Janna and this is Michael.
As we settle in and begin we would like to welcome in this transition from spring to summer.
This beautiful opportunity to welcome in the illuminating light that is extending and extending throughout this season.
And this particular period of transition is a beautiful time for us to really embrace the truth that is happening.
Of course what the summer solstice is is all about extending light and how the sun is with us for longer periods of time and how it is nourishing all the plants,
All the animals and us on the planet.
But it's also an opportunity for us to recognize and and nurture the light that's within us,
That spark of ease and giving and inspiration that sometimes is living under the veils of everyday life.
And so today as we experience and are supported by the sound of these ancient Tibetan singing bowls and all the bowls here are between three and six hundred years old and will be supported also by sacred gongs and chimes and handpan guitar voice mindfulness.
All of these sounds are ways to help us to release those veils so that we can see that light that is illuminating within.
And for some of us it might just be a spark of light and that's okay.
We allow ourselves to come and be exactly where we are.
For others of us it might be a bright light or maybe during this experience you'll feel that light grow.
However this experience works for you,
Let it be your own.
We are just here to drop in some ideas and if they resonate with you please use them.
If there are other feelings and lighted illuminated ideas that are exciting you please go with those.
And so we do recommend that if you can use some earbuds to really take advantage of the frequency beats,
The binaural beats that will be happening through this experience and if you don't have them that's okay.
So as we start maybe stretch your arms a little,
Move your shoulders and begin to settle in.
So whether you choose to be lying down or sitting,
However you are,
See if you can invite your body to be in as comfortable a place as it can be just right now.
And knowing that this comfort will shift and move and you can shift and move it too.
So we begin to bring our awareness a little more into this moment where we are and see if you can invite in some flavors of being open and kindly curious and a willingness just to be with whatever arises during this journey.
Holding that sense of curiosity as kind of a soft comfort to move through whatever is arising.
And so together I invite us to take a slow and nice easy breath in.
Filling the body with oxygen and then on the out breath just letting it all go.
Maybe allowing yourself to feel in a little deeper and breathing in again slowly through the nose like this.
And then a nice soft sigh in the out breath.
As we make room for a little light to begin to enter in.
As we invite ourselves to imagine this beautiful golden light that's maybe just hovering right at the crown of the head.
A healing soft velveteen color of light.
And as it pulls at the crown begins to soften.
And if we choose we can invite it in.
And as it illuminates over the forehead and down the back of the head like a waterfall we begin to soften all the muscles around the forehead and the eyes.
Back of the head down to the face.
And noticing the places where the jaw meets the head and inviting in a little more softening there as the teeth separate a bit in the mouth and the tongue is allowed to relax softly in the base of the mouth.
We can feel into this light as it works effortlessly its way through the back of the neck and cascading over the shoulders.
And noticing how the sounds can help to soften through every muscle and tendon.
Softening down to the right arm and the elbow,
Forearm and wrist and thumb and palm.
And out through the fingers.
Softening through the left arm.
And the elbow and down to the forearm and the wrists and the thumb and the hand.
And out through the finger as if everything was just illuminating through and beyond the fingers.
This light is trickling through the upper back behind the heart and it's softening through the chest and it illuminates at the heart where we can just notice what is there.
And whatever the heart needs,
The light is there to support and offer nourishment.
Down through the abdomen.
Even breathing through the abdomen.
You might notice the color of yellow or gold.
Or invite that color in.
As we further soften down through the belly and the glutes and the hip bones.
And inviting in the softening down through the muscles and even the organs and the cells of the thighs.
The space between the cells expanding down to the knees.
The calves,
The shins,
The ankles.
And the body healing,
Opening and revealing through the feet and the pads of the toes.
As if the whole body was surrounded in healing and revealing light.
In front,
Behind and all around.
As we allow ourselves to open at the ears.
And allowing this frequency of lighted tone and harmony and movement of sound to come into our awareness and to play.
So,
As we move our awareness to sound,
There's really nothing to do but just listen.
Just hear.
And within this space,

To nourish and grow,

So,
Oh,
Ah,
May the light that illuminated within your journey guide you,
Nourish you and reveal your truth to you so that you can glide with it onward.
And please allow this to settle into your being.
And slowly,
As you begin to come back into the room,
If you have had your eyes closed,
Opening your eyes,
Maybe just noticing shapes,
Colors and textures and just feeling if anything has shifted for you.
Perhaps thanking yourself for giving yourself this time,
This strong,
Empowered time.
Take a nice deep breath in.
Let it out.
And know that you are with so many other souls right now experiencing this.
