Hello and welcome.
Today I'll be guiding you through a meditation to imagine and embrace your liberation from the oppressive systems that bind.
We'll start with a gentle body scan and soft yellow light visualization and end with affirmations and a short ritual to help you to transform and release fear and tension stored in the body.
Please know that all of my guidance is invitational and you may choose to opt in or out depending on how you're feeling.
You may find benefit in the full breadth of the session or some parts of it and that's okay.
You do you.
I'll invite you now to take some moments to find your most comfortable form.
You may wish to sit up or lay down.
It's up to you.
Once you've found your ideal resting place,
I'll invite you to take any last movements of the body to sink deep into the support beneath you,
Knowing that you can adjust your position at any point during your practice.
I'll invite you now to allow your eyes to close gently over your eyelids,
Noticing if you're holding any tension in your face and inviting the muscles between the eyebrows to relax.
Observe if you're holding tension in the jaw and unclench the teeth.
Begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath,
Not changing it or adjusting it just yet in any way,
Just observing it as it is in this moment.
In your own time,
I'll invite you to take three deep cleansing breaths,
Inhaling through the nostrils and into the belly space.
So the belly rises up and out right to the top of the breath until you can't inhale anymore and then exhaling through the mouth long and slow to the bottom of the breath,
Allowing the belly to fall back down towards the spine.
As your breath continues to soften and deepen,
I'll invite you to begin to sense the glow of a soft yellow light as it floats down over the crown of your head,
Flowing down your face,
Bringing deep relaxation as this soft yellow light continues to flow down your neck into your shoulders and arms.
Everywhere this soft yellow light touches,
Your body experiences a release of tension.
As you relax,
You feel the glimmer of this soft yellow light as it flows down into your chest,
Wraps around your heart and down into your back and your torso,
Continuing to breathe long,
Slow inhales and exhales,
Allowing your breath to nourish your entire body.
Allow yourself to sink effortlessly into this soft wave of peace and relaxation,
Opening up to this soft yellow light flowing into your hips,
Your pelvis,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
And all the way down into the soles of your feet.
Your entire being is now illuminated in soft yellow light.
You feel every cell within you relaxing and letting go.
Allow this feeling of peace to envelop you completely.
You may wish to listen to these affirmations or repeat them silently to yourself,
Allowing a deep inhale and exhale between.
I am protected and cared for by divine forces and well ancestors.
I commit to embracing all parts of myself with courage and grace.
I choose to see myself reflected in the frothing waves of the rolling ocean tides,
In the shadows of the moon's glow,
In the rays of the turbulent sun.
I embrace my capacity to hold both sacred rage and sacred love,
For they are bound together like the roots of neighboring trees.
I am free from the colonial forces that bind my body,
My mind,
And my spirit.
I abolish the cop in my mind and in my heart.
I soften and embrace glimmers of our individual and collective power,
Grace,
And humility.
I release all illusions of separateness and powerlessness.
I am not alone.
I choose to excavate glimmering gems of active hope and desire and pleasure and play.
I devote my body,
Mind,
And spirit to the confusing,
Humbling,
Chaotic,
And ecstatic path of liberation from the crumbling systems of empire.

A witch's handbook to magical resistance.
Allow these words to wash over you.
We love fiercely,
Bravely,
Relentlessly,
Tenderly,
And in spite of.
We heal.
We fight and nurture in just balance.
We are present with honor for life in body and for our bodies.
Spirit seeks wholeness with body.
We listen to our bodies.
Breathing long and slow,
Feeling the nourishing energy of your breath as you inhale into your belly and into your lung,
Allowing the vibrations of the words you've heard to sink into your cells,
Change your neural pathways.
Slowly and gently,
I'll invite you to begin to return to an awareness of your senses and the space around you.
Notice the element of air above your head,
To the right and to the left of you,
Below your feet.
Feel the weight of your body as it's supported by the earth beneath you.
Take some moments to express gratitude for the sacred lens that holds you.
Gently rub the palms of your hands together,
Feeling the heat rising in your fingertips.
Show yourself some love and gratitude for showing up for yourself today.
