Hello VET Pro and thanks for joining me for this VET Meditation.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position,
A nice tall spine,
Softening the shoulders away from the ears.
If it's comfortable and safe for you to do so,
Allow the eyes to close softly,
Bringing your attention to the breath as it flows in and out,
Just observing it,
Not trying to change it,
Noticing the rhythm of your natural breath.
On your own time,
Finding the space to take three deep cleansing breaths,
Inhaling through the nose,
Filling up the lungs and expanding the belly outward and exhaling through the mouth with a loud sigh,
Releasing the breath,
Releasing tension,
Repeating that same deep breath on your own time.
And for one final time,
Maybe the biggest breath you've taken all day today right here and letting it go,
Gently letting the breath return to its natural rhythm and extending gratitude and appreciation to yourself for taking this mini moment of mindfulness in your day.
Practice this as many times as you need to,
To give yourself that brief moment of self-care.
Until next time,
VET Pro,
Take care,
Stay healthy,
And be well.
