Thank you for joining me for this vet meditation brain break.
For today's brain break,
You're gonna allow yourself a chance to daydream about a goal that you want to accomplish this month.
As we get started,
If it's safe and comfortable for you to do so,
Allow your eyes to close softly.
If not,
Just have a soft gaze downward towards the ground or towards a blank spot on a wall in front of you.
Find whatever works best for you as you begin to turn your attention towards your breathing,
Focusing on the breath and its natural rhythm as it flows in and as it flows out,
Trying to lengthen each breath that you take just a little bit at a time.
Now I invite you to begin creating a movie in your mind.
I want you to imagine that it's the end of the month and you've reached the goal that you're working on.
Imagining yourself,
Fast-forwarding to the future,
Either at the end of the month or in a month from now,
What can you see?
What are the steps you took to get where you are in this brain break?
Allow yourself to imagine it as vividly as possible like it's already happened and connect with the feelings that are there.
How do you feel having accomplished this goal?
Any thoughts of self-doubt or negative self-talk that arise,
Just allow them to gently drift away and refocus back on your daydream of accomplishing your goal this month.
Begin to close our practice.
I invite you to revisit this visualization as many times as you need to,
Allowing it to grow and change as you work towards and accomplish different goals in your life,
But knowing that even just being able to imagine it,
There's part of you that believes it can happen.
I already believe in you,
So it's time for you to believe in yourself too.
If you had the eyes closed,
Allow them to open softly.
