Hello and thank you for joining me on a meditation about I am enough.
The purpose of this meditation is to help you to begin to trust yourself and know that you are enough exactly how you are right in this given moment.
In our busy mind and in the busy world it's possible that you may have forgotten this or let yourself believe that you need to do more in order to be more.
So take this time now to sit in stillness and begin to rebalance yourself.
This meditation will be a total of roughly 18 minutes.
We will have some silence at the end and that's honestly where all the good stuff happens in your brain.
You start to increase gray matter and new folds and you shrink the area that's responsible for hate and fear.
So let's begin by remembering something that has always been true.
You are enough.
Make yourself as comfortable as possible and if closing your eyes feels good please do that.
If not just find something to focus on.
Preferably you're sitting,
Your hands can be wherever they'd like,
Wherever it feels comfortable and natural for you.
Let's just do that.
We're going to start with three long slow deep breaths in through your nose,
Out through your nose and then hold the exhale for the count of three.
So let's do this at your own pace but in through your nose,
Out through your nose and hold for the count of three.
In through your nose,
Out through your nose and hold for the count of three.
In through your nose,
Out through your nose and hold for the count of three.
Now you can let your breathing return to normal.
You may notice that it slows down or speeds up.
That's okay.
Just let it do what it needs to do.
It's your body's way of regulating itself.
Begin to feel your body settle into a calm peaceful place.
Begin to visualize yourself becoming engulfed in a big warm golden light.
As it surrounds you,
You begin to trust that this light is safe for you.
It's comforting and cleansing.
It begins to flow through your body starting at the crown of your head,
Moving to your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your chest,
Your belly,
Hips,
Thighs,
Calves and all the way through to your feet.
As it moves through your body,
It relaxes every single muscle that it touches.
It flows in and through you with each breath you take.
It picks up anything heavy that feels stuck,
Stagnant,
Any stress or any feeling of being overwhelmed along with tension and tightness.
It also shines a light on whatever is causing this heaviness and making you feel as if you're not enough.
Offer any negative feeling to this golden light so that it can be picked up and washed away.
This golden light begins to align,
Clear up and revive your entire energy field,
Allowing you to feel more worthy,
Confident,
Trusting of yourself and allowing you to fully believe that you are enough.
It continues to fill every cell in your body.
As it does,
It instills a new trust in yourself,
Confidence and self-assurance.
Visualize this light flowing through you.
Watch as it penetrates the deepest,
Darkest corners of your very being.
Where do you need the light to be directed in yourself?
As you breathe in this golden light,
Allow your exhalation to release all that is holding you back and anything you no longer need,
Worries,
Concerns,
Fears,
All of that comes to the surface in order to be released.
I'm going to leave you with five minutes of silence.
During that time,
You can always focus on your breath or your heartbeat,
But I strongly encourage you during this meditation to focus on that golden light and allow it to take anything away that no longer serves you.
