If you find yourself judging other people whether it's a friend or family member, or somebody you see on social media ... you can use this meditation to explore those feelings of resentment. Rather than sitting with these uncomfortable feelings, this meditation will guide you to reframe them.

Do not listen to this audio experience whilst driving or moving around.

Find a location where you can sit undisturbed.

Place your feet flat on the floor and adjust your position and posture until your body feels both alert and open.

Lengthen your spine.

Lift your heart as if you are offering it up as a gift.

You will hear my voice followed by periods of silence and in the silence continue to offer your good wishes.

Take a few slow deep breaths.

Bring your awareness to each breath as it rises and falls.

Begin by setting the intention for this session,

Perhaps to reduce envy or learn to celebrate the success of others.

Good events,

Large and small,

Are abundant in other people's lives.

When you witness somebody enjoying abundance in their lives and you notice feelings of envy,

Judgement or jealousy,

Know that this is a message from your soul.

Listen to what is being said to you.

It's likely that you are observing abundance that you wish for yourself.

Know that you are worthy of infinite abundance and know without any doubt that the abundance you are observing is available to you too.

Take a full nourishing inhalation and release with the exhalation.

Throughout this session bring your awareness to your heart centre and notice how this practice affects your body.

Visualise now someone who is experiencing abundance and a positive event in their life.

It could be a big event like a promotion at work,

Getting married or moving to a dream home or a smaller event such as enjoying a run or a sense of ease as the day unfolds.

All events,

Good and bad,

Fade with time and all people yearn to be happy.

Right now for this person that universal wish is coming true.

Notice the feelings of envy or resentment and listen to what you are being told.

Know that these feelings are keeping you in a place of lack and the universe responds to that and brings more of it to your life.

When you believe that good things happen to others and not to you,

That will become your reality.

So learn this new practice and silently repeat this classic wish for this person from your heart.

May your happiness and good fortune continue.

May your happiness and good fortune continue.

Repeat this wish over and over again with each breath you take.

Allow it to infuse,

Soften your heart and your face and visualise yourself supporting this person.

May your happiness and good fortune continue.

Celebrating this new abundance and good fortune,

Inviting it to linger just a bit longer.

May your happiness and good fortune continue.

As your practice deepens,

Soften and expand your heart's capacity.

Consider the good fortunes of people you don't even know.

May your happiness and good fortune continue.

S soften your heart to appreciate other people's blessings and open up to them.

May your happiness and good fortune continue.

Allow these feelings to settle for a moment.

Notice the feelings of peace and calm as you wish happiness and good fortune to all you know.

As we end this meditation,

Know that you can lovingly celebrate with others anytime you wish.

Taking three full deep breaths,

Bringing your attention back to the room as the energy returns to your body with each breath.

On your third breath,

Gently open your eyes and return to the room around you,

Ready to continue your day.
