Hello my friend,

Welcome to today's mindfulness practice.

I invite you,

If you haven't already,

To come into a comfortable position either seated or on the floor.

Inviting and welcoming stillness.

Perhaps your hands are at your side or maybe you draw your left hand to your heart and your right hand to your belly.

Gently close your eyes.

First coming into awareness of the very depth and cadence of your own breath in this moment.

Noticing the areas of contact between your body and the earth below you.

Coming into this moment,

Mind,

Body,

Spirit,

All as one.

For today's practice,

We are going to be calling upon those who can offer us support.

We are going to call upon those that we can resource.

This is a very intentional practice.

You are opening the door and inviting in those who only have well wishes of love and connection for you.

So maybe you start to think of certain individuals where you feel fully safe to both give and receive love.

And envision them either sitting or lying beside you here in this space.

Perhaps they even have their hands rested at your back offering the support you may need in this moment.

Think of all the places where you're being loved and who these special people are.

They may be here with us today.

They may have passed on long ago.

They may be somebody you know personally,

Or it may be somebody who you've always admired from afar.

Invite them in.

Maybe you start to call in those ancestors who've always wanted the best for you,

Who want you to be happy and safe.

And allow yourself in this moment to be held by all of those that have come before you.

This is your reminder that you are not alone.

You are forever held.

You are forever loved and you are forever safe.

Allow yourself this gift to receive.

Maybe in this moment,

Whether to yourself or whispering aloud,

You say thank you.

And then returning once again to your very own breath,

To your own body,

To the wisdom of the very space you are in.

And whenever you're ready,

On your own time,

Opening your eyes.
