The holidays can be a time of joy as well as a time of stress. We sometimes judge our bodies, as we eat differently and spend time with family, so this meditation is intended to be a mindful moment of gratitude for your body and all that it does for you.

Transcript

During the holidays it can be a hard time of year where we are grateful for many things but not always grateful for our body and all that it does for us.

So today I'd like to just take a moment to really focus on ourselves.

So settle in to a comfortable seated position.

Take a nice deep inhale in and exhale out through the mouth as you release it all.

As you inhale in I'd like for you to just think of one thing you're grateful for your body for and as you exhale out let go of any pain that you're holding around this.

Take another inhale in and thank your body for all that it does for you.

Exhale out any feelings about your body that you don't want to hold on to anymore.

Take another inhale in of gratitude again thanking your body for all that it does for you on a daily basis and exhaling out any hate or hard feelings you have about what it should be should look like or isn't doing for you right now.

Have a beautiful day.
