This practice is here to gently wake your energy.
Find a comfortable seat or a resting place.
Allow your spine to grow long and your chest to open.
Your eyes may soften if you like or close completely.
And guide your awareness to your breath.
Take a slow inhale,
Filling your lungs,
And exhale fully,
Letting go.
And again,
Breathe in a little deeper,
A little brighter,
And let this release be audible.
Now imagine with each inhale you're breathing in light.
Soft,
Golden light,
Spreading through your entire body.
Feel it warm your chest,
Soften your face,
Awaken your whole being.
And each exhale clears away the fog.
Anything heavy,
Anything stale,
It simply softens and dissolves.
Continue like this for a few rounds,
Breathing in light,
Breathing out heaviness.
Notice how your body responds.
A subtle shift of energy,
A gentle awakening.
If it feels right,
You might silently repeat,
I invite in vitality.
I welcome freshness.
I am open to today.
Allow these words to echo softly inside you,
Not as demands,
But as invitations.
And allow your body to take one more energizing breath in,
And a long,
Easy,
Slow release.
And guide your chin gently towards your chest,
As if offering a quiet bow to yourself,
Honoring the energy that you've awakened.
And rest here with a soft smile,
Appreciating the light you've invited in,
Sensing its presence from the crown of your head all the way down to the tips of your toes,
Nourishing in it with each and every breath.
When you feel called,
Let your eyes gently blink open.

Alive and open.
