Self Care Beyond the Bubble Bath

Self Care Beyond the Bubble Bath

When you think of self care, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? For me, it’s a bubble bath and a book to unwind. Taking time to care for ourselves this way is great -- and at the same time I believe society has turned this idea of self care into a commodity. Yes, a part of self care can involve doing a face mask and taking a bath, and I also want to show you the sides of self care that will really elevate you to the next level -- and that requires taking care of the hard stuff. Bubble baths and physical self care are self soothing activities. While there is nothing wrong with self soothing activities, they only act as a band-aid over what's really aching underneath. There is much more to it than taking care of yourself physically. There are aspects of self-care that are purely mental and emotional -- the shadow side. Self care beyond the bubble bath is the thing that present you does begrudgingly often in order for future you to feel better. This sometimes means being more accountable in areas of your life that need attention, like getting your mental health to a better place, being on top of top of finances, striving for better physical health, facing your tough emotions, and more. My goal in this group is to guide you to a point where you can take care of future you even if it feels uncomfy sometimes. In this group community, I will help you stay accountable to your self care goals and teach you how to become successful in facing your fears, releasing your self limited beliefs, developing confidence, and manifesting the life of your dreams. I host a live session on self care most Sundays at 12pm EST, 9am PST. All live sessions will be recorded and posted in this group after.
