Welcome to this meditation.
My name is Maxim Marlow and today I will guide you through my ocean meditation.
First I invite you to find a comfortable,
Quiet place where you feel relaxed and you can either sit down comfortably or lay down.
Then I invite you to choose to breathe either via your nose or your mouth.
We are going to do a conscious connected breath.
That is a rhythmic pattern where you inhale and exhale without a pause between.
Imagine your breath is like the waves of the ocean.
Coming and going,
Coming and going.
It's a constant cycle.
It sounds like this.
Imagine a wave comes into the shore,
You breathe in and the wave flows back into the ocean,
You breathe out.
I invite you to continue with this breath throughout the whole meditation in your own rhythm and speed.
Imagine you are walking on this vast empty beach.
Give yourself a moment,
Tune in.
How do you feel right now?
On the beach,
Look around yourself and observe your surroundings.
What do you notice?
You can see the grey clouds,
The birds flying over the beach.
You can see the reflections of the clouds on the wet sand.
A soft breeze is touching your skin.
There is a salty smell in the air.
Boats on the horizon are far out of reach.
You can hear the waves crashing down on the land.
You have a large empty backpack on your shoulders.
This backpack has a lot of space for everything that's on your mind.
Now,
You take this backpack,
You open it and then you start to put in all the things that feel heavy in your life.
You put in everything that's on your mind.
All the thoughts,
All the different things that happen to you,
Things you want to take care of.
And you notice the weight of the backpack gets more heavy and heavy.
Now you're done and you did put in everything that's on your mind.
You feel the backpack that's back on your shoulders and it feels very heavy.
You feel it with every step.
Now you notice your mind.
You notice how clear and calm your mind is.
It feels very free and light.
Because you put all these heavy things in the backpack.
You continue to walk on the beach along the ocean.
Now you turn towards the ocean and you face the wide open sea.
You hear the waves and you feel the fresh water on the solar plexus.
You feel the warmth of your feet.
You walk through the wet sand towards the ocean.
A few more meters.
Now the waves are right in front of you.
Take off the backpack and put it down.
Put it down onto the sand.
How do you feel?
You feel much lighter now.
Then you take the backpack and you open it.
Now empty the whole backpack into the ocean.
Let it all out.
Give it all to the ocean.
All the weight,
Everything goes into the ocean.
Until the backpack is empty.
Now the backpack is empty and super light.
There is a huge wave that comes and takes it all away.
Takes it all away.
Let it be washed away into the ocean.
More and more waves are coming and take it further away,
Further away,
Far out into the sea.
With every wave,
With every breath,
You feel lighter and lighter and lighter.
You feel an overflow of relief.
Now take a deep breath in and out.
Continue to breathe here for a moment.
You breathe in and you breathe out.
Tune into yourself again and ask yourself,
How do I feel right now?
Then look around again.
What can you see or do you observe?
You notice the sky and it changed.
The clouds are gone and the sky is clear blue.
You can see the sun shining bright and warm sun rays touching your face.
You can feel the wind blowing gently.
You hear the birds,
They sing.
They are flying high above the palm trees.
You continue to walk in peace and happiness and you smile.
