Hello and welcome here.

Today I'm going to read to you chapter 4 of my book Break Free,

Live in Truth.

And it's all about intuition.

It's called Your Stomach Knows.

To speak your truth,

You have to know your truth.

Have you ever had one of those moments where someone asks you something and you're just not sure how you feel about it?

Let's say someone invites you to start a business together.

At first glance it sounds exciting.

A new opportunity.

Your mind goes,

Yes,

Why not?

You could use the money.

He has experience.

It all seems logical.

But then there's this strange feeling in your stomach.

A doubt you can't quite explain.

Nothing's wrong on paper.

Everything makes sense.

And yet,

Something in you hesitates.

That subtle feeling in your body,

That's your intuition speaking.

These are the moments where decisions become hard.

Because your mind will start convincing you.

If I say no,

I might miss something big.

What if this is my one chance at success?

What if he never asks anything again?

But the mind can't calculate what your intuition already knows.

Maybe you've had a moment in life where you didn't listen to that little voice inside.

You felt the doubt,

But you said yes anyway.

And later,

Things started to feel off.

Maybe even pretty bad.

And that's when it hits you.

I knew it.

You realize you felt it from the beginning.

That's the thing with intuition.

It often doesn't feel logical.

But it comes from a truthful place.

Sure,

Sometimes intuition and logic align.

And those moments are easy,

But rare.

You feel clear.

You just know what to do.

More often,

Intuition isn't logical.

It shows up as a subtle feeling.

A quiet knowing.

Something your mind doesn't agree with.

When I was working at a gym,

There was this man who came in almost every day.

Well known,

Around 40,

Very buff.

A bit intimidating in appearance.

But he'd never cause trouble.

Until one day.

He walked in,

And I instantly felt weird.

My stomach turned a little.

I felt this alert,

Like something wasn't right.

Not panic.

Just a quiet alarm going off inside me.

He hadn't said anything.

Nothing had happened.

But the feeling was strong enough that I walked over to my supervisor and said,

I don't know why,

But something feels off about him today.

Maybe just keep an eye.

She nodded,

But of course,

What could she really do?

The next day,

He came in again.

I was working the floor,

And one of my tasks was to remind people about a new hygiene rule.

Everyone had to bring a towel.

When I saw him,

I felt the same thing.

That same tension in my body.

Still,

I walked over and spoke gently.

Hey,

How are you?

Just a heads up.

We've got a new rule about bringing a towel to the gym.

Did you bring one today?

If not,

I can give you one.

The moment I said it,

He stood up tall.

His face turned red,

And he started yelling.

So loud,

It echoed through the gym.

He came closer.

Kept shouting.

I froze.

Luckily,

One of my colleagues saw what was happening.

He stepped in between us,

Calm but firm.

And told the man to back off.

It worked.

Nothing else happened.

But he was suspended not long after.

This story isn't about saying yes or no.

It's about how intuition often makes no logical sense,

But still holds deep truth.

When I decided to travel to Egypt for a month,

It didn't make sense to most people.

Isn't that dangerous,

A woman alone in Egypt?

I heard it all.

But I felt a strong yes.

I trusted it would be okay.

And just before I left,

I felt something even stranger.

A deep urge to let go of all my stuff.

It didn't add up.

I thought I'd stay a month.

Three months tops.

But the feeling kept growing,

So I started small.

Sold a few things.

It felt freeing.

Then,

I sold more.

And eventually,

I sold my car.

I still remember my brother asking,

Why sell it?

Just leave it with mom and dad.

You'll need it when you're back.

And yes,

That made perfect sense.

But I just said,

I don't know why,

I just feel like I have to.

So I did.

Looking back now,

I know it was the right choice.

I didn't stay one month.

I lived there for two years.

Keeping that car would've been a burden.

Sometimes your truth comes without proof.

But later it proves everything.

The body is such a powerful guide.

When someone asks you to join them for dinner,

A trip,

A job,

Your body often knows the answer,

Before your mind does.

Maybe it's a pause.

A sigh.

A flicker of tension in your chest.

Not because of them,

But because something in you whispers,

No.

And then the pressure comes.

Your mind tries to override it.

It can't hurt to go,

There's no real reason to say no.

Or someone says,

Don't be boring,

Come on,

We need you.

So you say yes.

Even though your body already said no.

It's not always a disaster.

Sometimes it works out fine.

But that's not the point.

The real question is,

What is your truth in this moment?

Even a lovely evening can drain you,

If what you really needed was rest.

When you keep saying yes to every maybe,

You slowly disconnect from your inner knowing.

And the more you ignore it,

The quieter it gets.

But when you say no,

Even when you're unsure,

You create space.

Space to breathe.

To rest.

To be ready for the next full body yes.

Sometimes we say yes out of fear.

Fear of missing out.

Fear of being left behind.

Fear of being forgotten.

But if your yes is rooted in fear,

Are you really free?

One uncomfortable truth I remind myself of often.

We're all here for a short time.

Some even shorter than others.

So why spend it pleasing others?

Why stay afraid of your own truth?

You won't miss out by saying no.

You'll miss out by saying yes to who you are not.

You'll miss out by abandoning yourself.

Thank you so much for being here.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as me.

Next time I'll read to you chapter 5.

And in the meantime,

I'm sending you all my love.

Talk to you soon.
