Snippets of Wisdom Feeling More Ease What is ease?
We know we want more ease,
But what does it really mean?
How does it show up in our lives,
And how can we get more of it?
The definition of ease as a noun is the absence of difficulty or effort.
The verb form means to make something unpleasant,
Painful,
Or intense less serious or severe.
From these definitions,
It sounds like something I want more of.
The absence of difficulty or effort?
Making something less serious or severe?
Yes,
Please!
Let me share something I wrote on this topic that may help us understand how to get more ease into our lives.
It is not an intellectual process.
It's a feeling process that produces a feeling of ease.
We cannot think our way into ease.
We cannot talk our way into ease.
We must feel our way into ease.
It's first and foremost a feeling process.
Once we can conjure the feeling of ease,
We will experience more ease.
We'll experience the absence of difficulty or effort.
How do we conjure the feeling of ease?
That's where our beautiful imagination comes in handy.
We can conjure in our minds what would bring us ease.
It could be an image of everything working out perfectly for us.
It could be an image of uplifting people helping us with something.
It could be an image of money flowing in without difficulty or effort on our part.
It could be an image of yourself flying down a snow-covered mountainside on your favorite skis or snowboard.
It could be an image of you sitting on a beach,
Sipping a scrumptious drink.
You get the idea,
Right?
Spend a little time conjuring your own imaginary picture of what ease feels like.
Revel in it for a while.
Take time to really enjoy the feeling of ease that you've created.
Let the feeling anchor in your body by performing EFT tapping or bilateral stimulation.
The more you practice this feeling of ease,
The more you prepare yourself for experiences of ease.
Once the universe gets a hold of your newfound feeling of ease,
It will match your feelings with experiences that provide evidence that you're on the right track.
For more ease on purpose,
Feel more ease on purpose.
And remember to come back daily and listen to another snippet of wisdom to support your joyful ease.
Big hugs,
Marianne.
