Taking a deep breath in and out and prepare yourself for the meditation.
Bringing our awareness and focus to the element of earth.
Earth being at the base of our spine,
The root chakra.
And as we lay or sit and see if we can bring our full awareness to this area of our body.
And the invitation in this meditation is to keep breathing,
To bring your awareness to the breath.
And you can be breathing through the nose or through the mouth as long as there's full focus.
And as we breathe,
As we connect with our root,
Let's bring our attention to old stories that exist within us.
And these old stories,
We're going to revisit them right now.
And notice how you feel when you connect with this story.
What sensations come up in your body?
What thoughts?
Any change in your breath pattern?
Completely bear witness to how you associate with this story.
These feelings,
These sensations,
They are here to give you information.
That's all.
We're not judging.
We're not creating new stories around this.
Just being with what is present and what we've carried for so long.
Earth space,
What do these old stories do to our root,
To our stability?
Can we breathe into this space of stability?
How we've connected and weaved those stories into making us more unstable.
I want to feel what it's like to remember in our bodies,
To really connect with why we are holding on to these stories.
Why are we holding on to these stories?
You feel when you answer that question,
Go deeper into that,
Even deeper.
There,
The feeling,
Feeling to our heart space.
We're going to give it love,
Using the breath as our conduit.
And that love from our heart down to our root.
Breathe,
Taking a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth,
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
And this last time,
We're going to inhale through the nose and we're going to hold the breath for five seconds.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
And release the breath.
Really experience how you feel right now.
