Welcome to the Creative Flow Meditation.
This meditation is designed to help you soften,
Loosen,
And release the blocks that obstruct your creative flow.
So find a nice,
Comfortable space and sit in your favorite meditation pose or lie down.
And when you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Breathe deeply.
Nice slow breaths.
Breathe from deep down in your belly.
Nice and slow.
Nice deep breaths.
And while you're breathing deeply,
Bring your awareness to any stuck feelings,
Any barriers or blocks in your way,
Any naysaying self-talk spinning in your mind.
And gather it all together.
Gather those blocks to your creative flow,
The resistance that keeps you stuck.
And let it all be there,
Mingling and mixing together.
And allow the blocks to reveal themselves.
And just be there with it all.
Noticing and observing this mix of creative resistance.
Now breathing nice and deep and slow,
Imagine a soft effervescent blanket being lovingly placed over this mix of creative resistance.
And as the blanket falls easily on down over all the bumps and bruises,
It gently cushions painful feelings.
It soothes rough edges and softens hard,
Stuck places.
This blanket of love and compassion.
Loving what feels stuck.
Easing what feels hard and frustrating.
Soothing and loosening what feels impossible.
Stay with this for a moment.
And now take another look.
Observe this mix of creative resistance.
And if you can,
If it feels right,
Thank it for all it's done for you.
Thank it for protecting you from rejection.
Protecting you from shining too brightly.
Protecting you from exposure.
Breathe deeply and allow any of your feelings to express themselves.
And notice now that as you show your gratitude,
The mix of resistance softens even more.
And the effervescent blanket gently reaches further into its depths.
The mix now receiving this compassion,
This acceptance glows softly and relaxes,
Surrendering and becoming one with the blanket of light.
Breathe deeply,
Nice and slow.
And invite this glowing blanket of light to join your creative flow.
Reintegrated,
Reinvigorated,
Your creative flow is free.
Luminous.
Mandant.
Natural.
Easy.
Flowing.
You.
Now take a nice,
Deep breath and another and bring your awareness to your breath and your body and your core.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
And remember that your creative flow is always here,
Ready for you.
