This is a simple Eastern practice of the body scan, moving from the head to the feet, being aware of the part of the body, breathing, and smiling to that part of the body. A simple, soothing practice for mind-body connection, presence, and balance.

I'm aware of my eyes.

Breathing out,

I smile to my eyes.

Breathing in,

I'm aware of my nose.

Breathing out,

I smile to my nose.

Breathing in,

I'm aware of my mouth.

Breathing out,

I smile to my mouth.

Breathing in,

I'm aware of my throat.

Breathing out,

I smile to my throat.

Breathing in,

I'm aware of my heart.

Breathing out,

I smile to my heart.

Breathing in,

I'm aware of my lungs.
