The Wind In The Willows, Chapter 3 - The Wild Wood

In chapter three of Kenneth Grahame's beautifully written classic, Mole tries to persuade Ratty to introduce him to Mr Badger. Ratty is evasive. Many months go by, and one winter afternoon, Mole sets off on his own to the Wild Wood to find the elusive Mr Badger. But as dusk falls, the wood takes on a sinister aspect and soon Mole is running for what feels like his life.

There was also at least one Wind in the Willows theme ride at Disneyland: “Mr Toad’s Wild Ride” (or similar) - I remember experiencing it as a youngster. Thanks so much Mandy. .
