First,
It's essential to prepare your space.
If you need,

For best results,
I recommend that you ensure that the temperature of the room is comfortable.
Dim the lights and close any curtains letting in bright sunlight.
You want to have a soft,
Calming light in the room.
Light some candles if you have them,
Although it's not necessary.
Make sure you're in a quiet,
Private place where you won't be interrupted.
Wear light and comfortable clothing that allow you to move freely.
Are you both ready?
Let's begin.
Seat facing your partner as close as you feel comfortable and close enough to reach your partner with your hand.
I recommend sitting on chairs that keep your back and legs comfortable,
But you can also kneel on your knees or sit cross-legged.
Just make sure that you can stay comfortable how you're sitting for 12 minutes.
If needed,
Get any movement out now so that you'll be able to sit still throughout the process.
Please remain silent during this practice.
Take a deep breath in and out.
For a few seconds,
Just breathe calmly and try to relax your body from your toes to the top of your head.
You want a relaxed,
Settled body.
Allow your body and soul to live and exist through this unique sensory experience.
Free your mind of any thoughts or worries.
Feel the joy of a deep,
Soulful connection.
Allow the experience to be what it should be.
Your thoughts will come and go.
Freely give them the opportunity to flow in your head as clouds in a blue sky on a sunny day.
Focus on your breathing for a few seconds.
Inhale and exhale.
Feel your chest rising with every breath.
Allow a gentle smile on your face.
Now,
Look deeply into the eyes of your partner.
Notice how they reflect light.
Notice the colors in their eyes,
Their glowing skin.
Look at their eyes as if it's the first time you've ever seen them.
For a few seconds,
Intertwine with your partner's glance.
Observe every detail.
Lift your arms up and band them at the elbow in the cactus pose.
With your palms,
Touch your partner's hands.
How does it feel touching their hands?
Enjoy how special it is that you're both doing this together here and now.
You are in the right place at the right time here and now.
All the moments you've had before have led you to this moment here and now.
Inhale deeply and exhale.
Close your eyes.
Interlace your fingers with your partner's and rest them on your thighs.
Feel the all-encompassing feeling of love that is bigger and deeper than the bottom of the ocean.
Holding hands with your partner is a physical connection,
Just the beginning,
Like dipping a toe in the water before diving in.
Underneath the water is a mystery,
An endless feeling that you know is there,
But you don't want to label or categorize it.
Imagine that now you're both under the water.
You can breathe freely without returning to the surface.
It feels safe here.
It feels like home.
You're in the deep blue water with the sun's rays cutting through the water like spotlights on a stage.
You're both wrapped in these warm rays of light,
Freely floating under the water,
Weightless,
Holding each other's hands.
While keeping your eyes closed and still holding each other's hands,
Rest your arms on your thighs and hold your hands tighter as if someone is trying to pull you apart.
Imagine the schools of glowing fishes dancing around you,
Responding to the music of your heartbeat,
The song of your soul.
Moving together,
Right and left,
Glowing in the dark and blending into one incredible magic dance.
Feel how the world is still around you,
Except for the two of you.
It feels as if the entire universe has suddenly stopped.
Keep your eyes closed and place your right hand on the chest of your partner over their heart.
Now place your left hand to your heart on top of your partner's hand,
Which they have just placed there.
Concentrate on your own heartbeat.
For a few seconds,
Try to hear the sound of your heart.
Feel it beating inside your body.
Now,
Switch your attention to your partner.
Try to feel the pulsing of their heart under your hand.
Feel how this sacred engine continuously beats throughout the day and night,
Keeping your partner alive.
Admire.
Feel gratitude and unconditional love just because you are here right now,
This moment,
And the person in front of you is sharing with you the most important things we have,
Our moments,
Heartbeats,
Smiles,
Warmth in their hands.
No matter where you and your partner will be in the physical relation to each other,
Whether you're in each other's arms,
A world apart for months at a time,
Or just leaving for a few hours,
Your hearts are always together.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
With your hand on your partner's chest,
Feel their breath and synchronize your breathing together.
Start and finish breathing at the same time.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Inhale and exhale.
Breathe together.
Now,
Return to your own breathing.
Open your eyes for a little while,
Reach out with your hands to your partner's face.
Hold it gently,
Touching their cheeks with your hands.
While holding each other,
Bring your faces closer and touch the tip of your nose to theirs.
Lower your heads against each other so that your foreheads are touching the area of the third eye.
Again,
Close your eyes and synchronize your breathing together.
This time,
Inhale and exhale through your nose.
Breathe together with the same rhythm for a few minutes.
Return to sitting up normally.
Your hands might slide over your partner's shoulders while going back.

Rest your arms on your thighs.
Take a deep breath,

This nagging sensation in your chest as if your soul is a bird that is breaking free for the first sunny warm day after a long and cold winter,

Look at this person through the lens of great kindness and love and gratitude.
Look into the deepest water of the ocean eyes while touching the surface of the skin waves.
Feel gratitude for the incredibly unique and special person in front of you.
You suddenly feel that you have everything that you need to live your most complete and successful life you could possibly imagine.
