My Poem: Under The Starry Sky | New Moon Seeds Of Intention

This longer poem I wrote on a summer night of 2025, it might even have been in July. I was sitting at the kitchen table, window wide open, beneath the bright stars of the dark new moon sky. It felt quite magical.
May it bring you some of the joy, delight, reassurance and sense of community connection, as well as connection to something greater that I felt writing it.

I was inspired by a creative writing/poetry live session with Carley from A Smile From Heaven, here on Insight Timer. So I want to give thanks, love & gratitude to Carley and the whole community there, especially those who contributed that day!

Dressed under the starry sky. My trust in life increasingly profound. Even though shaky sometimes, I know that with every slow breath, I am safe and sound. Sun, Moon and stars illuminates my path at night and day. I can lean on my higher self guiding my way. Never too late, Never too soon. I choose to plant seeds under this new moon. Witnessed now by glittering gentle stars, I am learning to celebrate myself, Even the wrinkles and the scars. They whisper stories from my past. Now I am planting seeds of compassion and I trust my inner growth is here to last. With meditation and forgiveness, I set myself free. When I choose to release, I liberate me. When I choose to unmask and allow myself to be, I liberate me. I now allow myself to shine my light, No more dimming to be liked, No more shrinking to fit in. My inner fire turning clear and bright. I am glowing from within. And nurture my growth. And my seeds are flowering. I make adjustments along the way. Because I am done with moments of towering. I am grateful for every day. That I get to experience. I am grateful for every day and I'm getting better and better and better in every way. With good discernment, I aim for compassion. My emotions deepen with heart's expansion. Old beliefs. I am redefining. Outdated habits, I am realigning. Making sure my cup is overflowing. I am remembering and growing. Self-care, Joy and rest always comes first. A fun passion project for my creative thirst. Like every new moon, Every day is a new start. So I remind myself daily to check in with my heart. I believe that loving-kindness will break any curse. So may magnificent magic flow effortlessly through me. To fill our entire universe.
