Welcome to this meditation.
I'd like you to make yourself comfortable,
Whether that's sitting on a cushion,
Cross-legged,
Or lying down,
Whatever makes you feel most at ease.
And close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath.
And let go of any tension as you feel yourself sinking into the surface you're resting on,
Becoming still more comfortable and relaxed.
Take another slow,
Deep breath and release your thoughts,
Letting them drift far away.
And take another slow,
Deep breath and know that in this moment,
All is well.
Imagine you're a tiny version of yourself clinging to a rope in the middle of your head,
Holding on tight as the rope slowly lowers.
Down you go,
Past your nose,
Your mouth,
Down your neck,
And into your chest until you come gently into your heart.
Your feet touch down,
The rope disappears,
And you find you're in the middle of an enchanted forest with tall trees,
Moss-covered rocks,
And a winding brook leading to a tall waterfall farther upstream.
Birds are commuting in the treetops,
Robins and jays,
And some you've never seen before.
Here and there,
Red ground squirrels and tawny-coloured rabbits are busy going about their day.
It's morning here and everything is bursting with life,
Rich and resplendent.
A soft breeze brushes your face and you feel a subtle shift in the energy.
And as you turn to look at the waterfall,
You see that way up at the top is a huge angel pouring light into the waterfall.
The light and water mix so that by the time they cascade into the pool below,
They've transformed into something between water and light,
A golden light healing combination.
That pool looks so inviting,
But there's no hurry.
You have all the time in the world.
And as you walk peacefully along the brook,
Smelling the delicious forest air,
Taking in the sounds and exploring a little.
Looking around at the trees,
You see that they're ancient,
So tall they almost seem to fade into the sky above.
Even as they cast dappled shade across the forest floor,
The path beneath your feet is covered with leaves of green,
Yellow,
Brown and red.
And bright blue and white wildflowers poke their way here and there through the rich forest soil.
This silvery brook offers rippling reflections of the blue sky above.
Through the surface,
You can see stones of copper,
Gold and gray layered on the stream bed below.
Little fish are darting about in the current in search of their breakfast.
As you come closer to the pool beneath the waterfall,
You notice a fawn who looks up at you for a moment and then goes back to her drink.
And there on the other side is a magnificent blue herring,
Stalking the shallow edge.
This must be a sacred place,
For the wildlife isn't bothered by your presence least.
A fallen log nearby makes a perfect spot to sit as you quietly remove your shoes and clothing,
Preparing in your immersion in the inviting pool.
And as you dip your toe in the water,
You find it's the perfect temperature and the bottom is smooth and even,
Making it easy to wade in.
And so you step slowly forward,
Immersing your feet,
Ankles,
Calves and knees in this healing pool of water and light.
Soon,
You're up to your waist,
Letting your hands sweep softly back and forth in the water,
So relaxing and soft.
The pool is deep enough that you can easily dip fully below its surface,
And the current here is slow and languid,
Making the ideal place to relax and let go.
Looking up at the waterfall,
You see the angel once again,
Still pouring light into the water.
It seems as if she's been there forever.
And your breath catches for a moment as she meets your gaze and makes contact with you directly.
She sees you,
Knows you've come to receive her gift,
And welcomes you to her world.
If you like,
Float on your back and feel your whole body embraced by the light-filled water as it seems to cradle and invite you to feel totally relaxed and free.
Soon,
You can hear the angel begin to sing to the waterfall,
To the forest,
To the earth,
The sky,
And to you.
She opens her heart wide,
Pouring out love that seems to come from the very source of all creation.
Her blessing resonating everywhere within you,
Bringing you harmony to every cell in your body.
Take some time to open,
Listen,
And receive.
Before long,
You notice that her song has called forth for more angelic beings now at your head,
Feet,
And on either side of you as you continue to float in this healing pool.
They're helping channel positive,
Loving energy into your body,
Mind,
And emotions,
Bringing you into greater and greater harmony within love.
Everything seems to be vibrating in harmony now.
The earth,
Sky,
Water,
And you,
Until it all is one.
Take some time to simply be at peace now,
Let go of anything you no longer need,
And receive more of this healing energy of love.
The four angels are standing back,
Signaling that their work is done for now.
So take a moment to listen and receive any further message that may be here for you at this time.
The heron that's been so quietly standing by the pool takes off in flight.
The fawn has also gone away,
And it feels like it's time for you to leave as well,
For now.
Take a moment to thank the waterfall angel for her gifts,
And thank yourself for taking the time to be here now.
Really bring your awareness gently back to your physical surroundings.
Take your time.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes and feel awake,
Alert,
And refreshed.
