Get comfortable in your bed and close down your eyes.

Bring your awareness to your breath,

Noticing it rise and fall,

Noticing it getting slower and deeper.

Notice how comfy your bed feels,

How the sheets and covers feel against your skin,

How your head sinks into your fluffy pillow,

Feeling so safe,

Feeling so nurtured,

Feeling so content and calm in this moment,

Knowing there is nowhere else you need to be.

This is for you,

For rest,

For relaxation,

To drift off effortlessly into a deep sleep,

Surrender to this very present moment.

Now bring your focus to your feet.

Notice how they feel right now.

Feel your toes begin to soften and relax.

Feel this relaxation move up your foot.

This relaxation moving through you feels like a tingling warm energy.

You feel all the muscles in your feet relax now.

This softening and relaxation continues up your ankles and into your calves.

You feel any constriction dissolve.

All tension dissipates.

Your knees and thighs relax as this wave of warm tingling energy washes over them and through them.

Every cell and fiber within your legs feel totally relaxed now.

This relaxation continues up around your hips and lower belly.

Your lower back softens and accepts this relaxation.

You feel yourself sink deeper into a feeling of lightness.

This wave of relaxing energy moves up your body.

You feel your ribs and back release all tension.

Any areas of constriction soften now.

Your heart space is flooded with this warm energy.

You allow any barriers you have built around your heart to dissolve.

Any tension.

Any hurt melts away as this tingling warm energy moves through you.

This relaxation moves up around your shoulders and neck.

Feeling your shoulders drop slightly.

Feeling the muscles in your neck soften.

Feel this relaxation move up into your chin and jaw,

Unclenching your jaw,

Allowing your eyes to soften.

Your eyebrows relax.

You feel this wave of tingling warm energy move up your head.

Feeling your forehead soften.

Relaxation reaches the top of your head.

Your whole body is now fully relaxed.

Sweet.

Free of tension.

This warm,

Relaxed energy now enters into your brain.

It feels spacious,

Expanded,

Empty and clear.

You become aware of the peace that fills your body,

Heart and mind.

Everything else has faded away.

Look deeper into this now.

You fully surrender into this moment,

Noticing the peaceful,

Tranquil space within you.

So calm.

So relaxed.

Fully present in this moment.

Just being.

Fully relaxed now.

Just in this space of effortless peace.

You allow yourself to surrender even deeper and to drift off to sleep effortlessly.
