
Be The Calm In The Storm

In these times of uncertanity, take the time to ground yourself and ease worry and stress. This guided practice will take you on a journey to manage anxiety and help you stay calm and peaceful. It is also a great practice to do just before bed to help you ease into a peaceful sleep. You will become the calm in any storm.

Okay,
My love.
I'm gonna go.

Okay,
My love.
We're just going to start by focusing on our breathing.
So close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
Breathing in nice and slowly.
Breathing out gently.
Just following the breath where it enters your lungs and expands.
Releasing all stress,
All worry.
Just a simple act of bringing our awareness to our breath starts our body shift.
Our mind shifting.
Leaving the chaos of the world around us behind.
Taking the breath a little deeper now.
Expanding the belly outwards when you breathe in.
And allowing it to sink inwards as you breathe out.
I want you to bring your awareness to your toes.
See a beautiful light moving into your feet as you breathe in.
And as you breathe out,
It washes away any stagnant energy,
Any stress that is held here.
Breathe that light into your calves and shins.
Letting it wash away anything that is no longer needed here.
Imagine,
Feel it moving into your thighs,
Into your whole lower body.
Breathing out anything that is old and stagnant here.
And every cell,
Every muscle through the bones,
It's nothing,
This light does not penetrate.
Allow this light to move into your lower belly,
Into your organs here.
Caressing,
Softening,
Clearing away as you breathe out.
Breathe that light into your upper belly,
All the way in through your chest.
Visualize and imagine the light you're breathing out is brown and murky.
Know that beautiful white light moves in through your liver,
Your lungs,
Your heart.
It digests your traps.
All of it moving out,
Clearing away and relaxing.
Feel the body start to relax here as you breathe that light into your shoulders.
Let it wash away all that stress.
Notice your shoulders falling away from your ears and relaxing.
As that light moves down your arms,
Into your hands and into your fingertips.
Bring that beautiful,
Calming,
Clearing light in through your neck,
Through your face and your head.
Let it relax that over-acting mind here,
Allowing it to move into peace and surrender.
Taking a nice,
Deep,
Slow breath here as we move that light into your body completely and allowing it to move any remnants we find.
I want you to be aware of your feet now,
Knowing you have these beautiful,
Heavy,
But sparkling silver chains around your ankles.
That as moves through the earth,
The other end goes deeply right into the center of the earth.
Whether you visualize it,
Know it or feel it,
These heavy,
Beautiful,
Polished silver chains are linking you right to the core of Mother Earth.
Feel that vibration coming to the center of the earth,
Move up through the streams,
Flowing into your feet and allowing the same path that beautiful,
White light took all the way up through your body.
Feel the strength here,
The security that Mother Earth is giving you as her vibration flows up through your feet,
Through your legs,
Through your whole body and overflowing from the top of your head and running back down your body.
Take a moment here and just breathe that right into every cell in your mind.
Mother Earth will keep you secure and stable during troubled times.
I'd like you to imagine walking along a wooded path.
You are barefoot.
You can feel the soft earth beneath your feet.
See,
Feel or just know there are trees on either side of you.
Beautiful,
Tall,
Strong.
The leaves are gently swaying in the wind as you now feel the wind against your skin.
Feel that earth beneath your feet.
You hear a stream in your mind.
You make your way towards the sound.
The air is crisp yet warm on your skin as you now see the stream before you.
It is so quiet here and yet there are birds chirping.
The leaves on the trees make their own sound as they rustle in the wind.
It is so beautifully peaceful as you hear the water just rippling along.
You make your way over to the water's edge and step into it.
The water is cool around your feet and ankles.
It is relaxing to have this water flowing around you.
As you walk downstream,
Feel the motion of the water as it's rushing by,
Sweeping away any anxiety,
Any stress.
Your arms float upwards as the wind picks up here and helps move anything that keeps you from being solid and calm awake.
Feel yourself twirl in this beautiful paradise,
Feeling freed,
Feeling peaceful and tranquil.
The sun is high and warm as it's rays caress your skin.
Continue to walk with the flow of the water,
Basking in the warmth of the sun,
Looking at the beautiful,
Clear water,
The pebbles beneath,
And the trees swaying so beautifully alongside you.
You are connected and fully supported here.
Feel your heart center,
Your heart chakra clear and expand.
It is filled with the love of the Mother Earth as she nurtures you and brings you back to hold.
Feel the love from your heart center expand through your body,
Out through your aura around you and back into nature.
Let it keep expanding,
Sending your vibration outwards.
The peace,
The love,
The security and the stability.
Allow this love and peaceful state to surround you in a beautiful,
Glowing light.
It is strong and keeps you protected and safe from any other energies coming in,
Any other stresses,
Any other anxiety.
This is your natural state.
As you continue walking,
You see a storm brewing up ahead.
It's like a line that divides this beautiful setting of nature into a wall of darker winds,
Darker states of energy.
I want you to feel that strength within your heart and around you,
That calmness as you approach this wall of storm.
The wind is fierce and pounding.
As you step in and across this line into the storm,
See that brilliant light of cocoons,
Love and peace surround you become even stronger.
The brightness expands.
The storm doesn't penetrate you and release it.
In fact,
The beautiful glow from your heart that expands outwards becomes stronger and stronger.
And right before your very eyes,
Your amazing vibration continues to expand.
And you watch how slowly that storm is transmuted.
That light expands through and calms the wind.
That power emanating from you that is keeping you solid and secure continues to expand and lightens the darkness of the storm.
You watch before you and know you feel the trees,
The grass,
The water now easily flowing around,
Calms and becomes the most beautiful,
Tranquil space.
This is your power.
This is your love that guides you and vibrates outwards.
Continue to walk now down the stream,
Noticing once again the gentle rustling of the leaves on the trees,
The beautiful warm sun high above caressing your skin.
Hear the birds happily chirping.
Be aware and not only see the colors around you,
But feel the fluttering of the butterflies that come and encircle you.
Dragonflies,
Birds come closer.
They know that you are safe.
As you make your way over to the bank of the stream,
Feel the grass beneath your feet.
As you walk back to your path.
As you are walking and slowly returning back to your home,
Still be aware of the earth beneath your feet,
Allowing that beautiful energy to flow upwards through.
Know your chakras are cleared and realigning here.
Reach your hands out and run them along the trunks of the trees,
Knowing the strength they provide you,
Being grateful for the support you are given here.
Take a moment to stop on this path and just quietly take in not only the sounds,
But the feel,
The energy,
The strength,
And the peace that this wonderful space offers.
Let it fill you completely,
Mind,
Body,
And soul.

You continue walking backwards now,
Giving gratitude and thanks for all that supports you.
You feel lighter and at peace.
